Hampton Inn Philadelphia King of Prussia (Valley Forge)

Very good

The hotel is worn. Instead of replacing the bathroom mirror which was stained with brown paint, it was turned upside down. It is impossible to turn the shower on without getting wet. The sheet covering the king sized duvet was a queen.

Pros: The room was clean which is the foremost thing you want in a hotel room. The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of charging plugs. Breakfast was included and was fine. The waffles are actually really good. Cons: The worst thing about the room is that we could hear the highway traffic all night. The furniture was dated and not in the best condition. They actually charge for parking, although it is only $4+ per day.

I had trouble with this property. When I arrived at my room, I noticed that the door to the room hadn’t been completely closed. I wasn’t comfortable going into the room, but I did. I called the front desk to explain my concern and the person at the front desk said: “That probably was because the housekeeping staff didn’t fully close the door. It’s fine.” I was not good with that response. My hope had been that he would change the room. He didn’t.

This hotel is very a very busy highway and road traffic is very loud all night. My shower water handle was broken / hard to turn and double sliding glass shower door only had one side that slid making it difficult to adjust water temp before getting in - must do a u turn to enter the hotel from one side - not that convenient

Upon arrival, the staff was very helpful. The first one we checked into had a little smell, but the front desk had zero issues and changed my room. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was very delicious. It was a good variety. The only issue I had was parking. Paying $12 for parking that I didn’t even use. They told me it was an upkeep fee.

This property hits most of the marks. However, they maintain a parking surcharge fee. Whether or not you have a vehicle and claim it is for the maintenance of the parking lot. There is no guard shack. There is no added protection. It's simply an open parking lot, and yet they choose to charge a daily fee, whether or not you have a vehicle which is absolutely absurd to me. There is no added value for the guest. And so it's really a money grab in my opinion. You can easily find equal or greater value at properties within a close radius. To this property that do not charge such a fee

This is my go to when I stay in the King of Prussia area.

The staff was exceptionally helpful. However, the property sits right next to a busy highway and the windows are thin. Very noisy and hard to sleep. You’d have a better chance of sleeping on the infield of the Daytona 500!

Rooms right near a busy interstate which was very noisy (all night). Bathroom shelf broken.

Whoever designed the room we stayed in had obviously stayed in a hotel before. It was all there. The bed was amazing. The bathroom had ample space and a non-slip floor. The entertainment was easy to use. Plenty of plugs to power gadgets. It was excellent, truly! Last and not least, the breakfast was more than adequate from eggs to waffles, to bagels. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
