Above and beyond

Our floor and room smelled bad, and the bathtub had stains and gross.
-
The room had roaches. The staff was not engaging. The wifi goes on and off. The remote for TV had dead battery. The building is very outdated and rugs are dirty. They claim NON-SMOKING as soon as I entered the handicap room smelled like a casino cigarette smell. Thank God I had air freshener with me. The blanket had holes of so much wear and tear.Hot water takes for ever to warm up. The bath tub was pretty beat up.

Cleaning the room had to be requested 3X before it being done. Property is extremely run down.

I found the receptionist to be extremely rude and overbearing and unprofessional, she seem to be mostly fixated on collecting her fee when a simple curiosity would have went a lot further. I’ve had an issue with her lack of professionalism in the past but had taken the higher road on her lack of mannerism.

Clean room, friendly staff, excellent air conditioning, and plenty of parking. A comfortable, hassle-free stay. I’d gladly stay here again. You get what you paid for and I love that! Will definitely stay again!

The road the hotel was over all quiet. It had great air conditioning and the room was clean. Just kind of bare. But that was expected for the price that I was paying. It's in a great location with a mall but it is kind of difficult to get to. It's in a really weird spot.

I am writing to formally notify the Executive Leadership Team of an unacceptable experience at Motel 6 King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, involving cockroaches in my room and the complete failure of property management to appropriately address this matter. Upon discovering cockroaches in my room, I immediately notified the front desk. I was offered either another room or $20 compensation. I explained that my concern was not simply the room I occupied, but the possibility of a larger sanitation issue within the property. Moving to another room did not alleviate those concerns. I was told I could speak with the manager the following morning. When I attempted to do so, I was informed that the manager was unavailable and that I would receive a telephone call at noon. That call never came. When I called back myself, I was given the runaround and was eventually informed that the most Motel 6 was willing to offer was $45. I requested the manager’s name and was refused. I requested the name of the employee with whom I was speaking and was again refused. I find it extremely troubling that paying guests are unable to identify the individuals responsible for handling serious health and safety complaints. I have made every reasonable effort to resolve this matter privately. I have spoken with hotel staff, requested management involvement, and have escalated my complaint to corporate leadership. To date, I have not received an appropriate response.

That being said, the room was decent and clean.
-
The room was very dirty. The bathroom was covered in mold. The beds were very uncomfortable. There were limited pillows. When I asked the staff for an extra pillow, I was turned down. The entire property smelled of urine, and substances both legal and illicit.
-
I would not recommend this motel 6. The room was not clean. There were dirty spots on all the walls, the lock was broke off the door, the toilet paper had nasty marks on the side of it like someone cleaned a dirty needle off with it, the room smelled of cigarette smoke and weed even though it’s a non-smoking hotel. The light fixture above the bed was broken and was not clean. The WiFi is very poor, so if you need internet on your stay, don’t count on the WiFi.

Terrible smell throughout the entire building. AC was set at 60 and blowing warm air. Bed was very uncomfortable. Sketchy people hung around outside the building.
-
One of my worst stays. The toilet was clogged and the front desk said they would send maintenance but didn’t. In the middle of the night the smoke alarm started chirping due to low battery. Carpets in hallways were filthy and smelled. I’m usually very easy going, but I felt I needed to warn others.

Easy parking

WiFi connection was terrible, there were stains on the hallway carpet and saw some stains on the mattress cover that was under the fitted sheet.
-
The convenience of not having to put a security deposit down The room could have least had a mini fridge and a microwave at least
