The Green Room Hotel

Our stay was awesome & would definitely recommend. Couple of things to mention- the snacks mentioned on the website are sold for $5/each & the walls are far from sound proof! Other than that if you don’t need a lot of space & want a great location, a short drive to the beach & only a walk to many restaurants, & it’s in your budget, we definitely recommend checking out the green room hotel!

If you’re looking for a minimalist, trendy and clean hotel look know further. The bed is very comfortable with the softest sheets. The donuts and coffee in their outdoor common area was a tasty surprise. There’s a healthy food market/deli across the street, a good brew pub on the corner and a donut shop within walking distance. Other than that, South Oceanside and this hotel are car/UBER dependent.

What a great hotel in a prime location with some fun amenities, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Location great. Why are all hotel rooms so dark ? Great private patio and communal patio with sitting areas, and Japanese soaker tub (very sparkly clean) and generally chill vibe. I came for work and was a million x better than the standard chain hotel...

Loved the outdoor seating spaces and the relaxed fe l of the place. Very clean & comfortable room. Good location with numerous, diverse eating locations in comfortable walking distance.

The team was very attentive, responsive and welcoming! Loved the hotel. The coffee and the donuts in the morning were a wonderful treat.

We had a perfectly fine stay at the Green Room. Nothing bad and the space was cute but was very loud from coast highway traffic. We also left a treasured family item behind and asked for assistance retrieving it and we unfortunately never heard back after they said they would double check. Not having a front desk makes it difficult to relay information and receive information. We also arrived back late one night and there was no parking available. All in all a perfectly fine stay but the details were not as well managed as we had hoped.

Such a hidden gem!! A very nice boutique hotel with about 12-14 rooms that are nicely appointed and very clean. The beds are comfy and the sheets are very soft with lots of pillows. There's a nice hot tub area with a fire pit, seating and picnic tables. Perfect for Smores! There are beach cruisers to ride along with an assortment of surfboards and paddle boards. The staff is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to stay again

Very well decorated with a super cool ‘vibe’. Bed was amazingly comfortable! Really nice extras (coffee and maker, all utensils, etc) and super nice appliances! Nice private and shared sitting area with fire table. Took the bikes (they were a little tired). Nice location, close to Carlsbad and Oceanside. Would stay again if in the area!

Pros The property was small and quaint and appeared to be kept up nicely. It was not too far from Carlsbad which is where we spent most of our time. The little kitchenette was very useful for us. The check in process was quick and contactless (although they said they could have someone greet you if you'd like). Our only human contact was with the cleaning staff who were very nice. The room was clean and tidy. Cons Our room was not as quiet as we would have liked since it was on a busy street. Taking our dog out to do its business was a little problematic since there were no grassy areas close by. There was also a bad smell when running water down the bathroom sink. I would guess the sink plumbing needed to be cleaned out.

Very comfortable and great location for our needs. Clean rooms and grounds Loved the decor and size of the hotel very relaxing. The staff were great. We’ll be back.

Everything about this hotel was phenomenal. The location, the rooms, the staff, and amenities were all top notch! The staff had wonderful recommendations for us as well, and we loved having a porch area! The communal area with tables, hot tub, and fire pit were such a fun touch as well. Honestly, everything was wonderful. However, an extra shelf in the bathroom would be a great touch!

Great little spot and very quiet and clean. Wonderful location next to many great shops and restaurants within walking distance. We will be back in the future

Great location, super close to the beach. Loved that it was closer to the suburbs area instead of the downtown area of Oceanside so less crazy.
