Quality Inn & Suites Erie near Casino

The room appeared to be clean but none of the doors closed properly. Either there are too many layers of paint on them or something else. They needed to be slammed each time. The building is very old. The shower head in the bathroom was loose in the wall. The tub accumulated two inches of water after every shower which took at least 10 minutes to drain. The rod for holding the bath tissue was missing. On the positive side, the tv worked and so did the refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was adequate. The walls were very thin so we could hear the conversations next door. We were rudely awakened at 4am by loud yelling and banging on the walls.

The rooms were very unkept. The bed had dirt, the shower self was moldy, the room smelled, the vents were dirty, the wall patches and paint were falling off, the curtains were turning black, the towels were covered in hair and windows were cracked. There was a dead bird outside the door and inappropriate guests making comments to the point we walked right back out of the pool and bar section I know that part is not controlled by the hotel because it is other guests and outside entrances to the rooms but it added to the already poor experience. We will not be returning and tried to find other accommodations for the night as soon as we walked into the room. The stay costed over $130 which was insane for how the room was kept. The worst hotel I have ever booked.

The room had musty smell and when we pulled back the bed sheets the mattress was stained. The mattress was also very old and springs in it had weakened. When you laid down or sat on it or rolled creeked loudly . The curtain did not close all the way. Anyone walking by could see straight into the mirror and see who was in the room and on the bed. The decor looked like had not been changed in many many years. A room near ours had a badly broken window and had look like it had not been broken recently. Would stay there again ??? NO WAY. There are two other hotels across the street that are nicer and still very close to the casino and bars. Last thing. The floor had not bed swept or cleaned

Secondly, walking up to the front desk we had to ring a bell for service it appears the work staff are limited however the gentleman was friendly. We checked in then found our room. Thirdly, this is where it gets way worse. We opened the door to our room the smell slapped each of us across our faces, cannot explain the smell but if I had to guess… cigarettes with body order and a hint of chlorine and some other unpleasant aroma. Not to mention the woman that walked by looked like she was from the walking dead, head cocked sideways limping. We grabbed our things abruptly! Lastly, we retuned to the front desk waiting agin for the front desk gentleman to return but I needed to walk to the bar to ask the bar tender to get ahold of him. Once he came back I told this gentleman the room was not at all what was advertised and I would like a refund he politely said okay and we went along our way. To sum this up…. This place is terrible. I have never been in an establishment that was so outdated and not cared for I could add more but I am limited to the number of characters for this review. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Deliverance vibe

It was not clean. Drain clogged. I couldn't give my handicap son a shower. Very dirty like red roof inn. Our party packed up and left to best western way better for the same price. Homeless people with bags on bench and prostitution activities. Not a place for families with kids.

Overall, the room was clean, but the whole property itself is very ran down.. It’s just like cracked concrete different things like that, just all over the outside. The room itself wasn’t bad.

The property is run down and old not maintained. Rooms stink bad. Doors are stuck. Have to kick open. Was so bad we left and stayed elsewhere.

we stayed in room 100 and it was the dirtiest hotel i have ever stayed at. rooms were very dark and dirty. shampoo container was empty. dirt in all the corners of the bathroom. rust on the shower head and drain in tub was very very slow.Bath tub had a chunk taken out of it,toilet took 3 to 4 times to flush. coffee maker was dirty. tops of counters were dirty and felt like it had a film of something on it. beds were uncomfortable. air conditioner did not work properly. There is a bunch more but i am tired of typing. I will never ever ever go back to that place ever. I could not wait to get home to take a shower because you felt dirty after you got out from stepping in the dirty water about 3 inches up to your ankles. the shower head was rusty and black stuff came up thru the bath tub drain. Pillows looked like couch pillows instead of bed pillows. When you walked in the room it stunk so bad i had to buy lysol and spray it every time we came back into the room. IT WAS HORRIBLE PEOPLE PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BOOK ANYWHERE ELSE

Room was dirty. bathroom was horrible no toilet paper and towels. Place was very dirty. the breakfast area was dirty with limited food item. All place was smoke area everywhere cigar and buds and smokes smell.

The room was dated and had broken items. The tub was spongy when you stepped in it and the only extra plugs available were in the vanity and that is where you had to charge your phones.

The building was filthy dirty, there was mold and mildew in the rooms, food splashed all over the walls, mud and water leaked all over the floor, the curtains had mold and mildew growing up them, there were dirty clothes left underneath the bed, the windows and door were filthy. We stayed at this location about six years ago. It was really nice and well maintained. It was obvious THIS TIME that there is no upkeep on that building.

Cockroaches and filth! I booked a room, through Expedia, for one night on July 1, 2026. When I arrived I took pictures of the filth and broken clothes rack and shower curtain holder. I chatted with Expedia and got no help. Went to get a sandwich and when I returned took a tissue and took a cockroach off the wall. I google lensed the cockroach and it identified it as such. So I took it to the front desk along with the room key and said I would not be staying there, and left. I sent the pictures to Expedia asking for a refund WHICH WAS DECLINED!

We love BlackJax bar. Staff is awesome
