Received a quick room change, when a minor leak was discovered in our room. The person at the front desk was very accommodating.

The breakfast was freezing cold and there’s no coffee left. For the amount of people that came down to eat they should definitely be even if it’s dry breakfast some more other options. There could definitely be more options to purchase in the little store for guests. Everything was pretty much sold out.

According to the Choice Hotels website website, this is what this hotel chain is supposed to be about: Experience contemporary design touches, on-demand connectivity, modern fitness essentials and curated food and beverage options—from a complimentary better-for-you breakfast to premium beverages for purchase at our marketplace. This is exactly what it is. The room was spotless, the bathroom was not super high-grade but was also spotless. The room had been recently renovated. I couldn't see a single reason for all the negativity. It's a Clarion Pointe hotel. It isn't the Radisson. It isn't a fleabag, or even an economy motel option. It's not a place you'll be ashamed to take your wife or family member or work contractor or church group or kid's hockey team to. The staff, especially Sam and Bill at the front desk, is very good at what they do, and always ready to help. There's plenty of peace and quiet. It's clean. It's in an accessible location, Bottom line: this was a nice hotel and I'd stay here again if I come back to Erie.

Nice staff. Comfortable beds. One of my pillow cases was either dirty or stained. Otherwise everything was pretty neat clean.

Which means you’re standing in your own dirty water as you’re taking a shower, which is one of my biggest pet peeves in the whole world. Otherwise, clean and safe property with several options for food nearby and a short drive to the airport.

Not clean. Elevator, breakfast area need to be wiped down regularly.

The bed was comfortable and the parking was free and convenient. The bathroom hardware appeared to have mold. The first floor had a horrible smell in the hallway leading the stairwell. The walls were peeling and it smelled bad in the stairwell. The elevator was loud and shaking. This room was not work over $200 for the stay.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It’s simple but nice, with clean room at a great price. The room was a reasonable size, and the location was quiet yet convenient. My only suggestion would be to change the fragrance used in the hallway, as the current smell doesn’t feel particularly fresh. A lighter or fresher scent would make the overall experience even more pleasant. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

The mattress was comfortable, and that was it. The room smelled of pot, and the carpets in the hallway and room areas were worn out. The bathroom fixtures were rusty and outdated. Would have left if I could have another hotel with a room.
