Baymont by Wyndham Erie

Our room was very humid upon arrival. After turning down the AC to cool off the room, I noticed that we were only provided with one bath towel, several hand towels, and two very dingy, almost dirty looking washcloths. When we were checking in, there was somebody at the front desk complaining about the lack of towels in her room. I went up to the front desk to inquire about an additional towel and the hotel staff was currently in a screaming match with an another customer who had been overcharged by another third-party vendor for the hotel. while waiting for my turn at least six more people showed up to complain about the lack of cleanliness in the rooms, the lack of towels, and just the general uncleanliness of the hotel. Very disappointed.

The room was fine - good bed, clean bathroom, quiet. We appreciated the proximity to I-90. Unfortunately the breakfast was below par -very heavy on bread products but no eggs or waffle maker. Coffee was weak. The staff did their best to keep everything stocked but the food selection was mediocre.

Although the rooms were relatively clean and the staff were trying, this hotel was clearly incredibly understaffed and not well managed. The towels were small, rough, and so threadbare that you could see your hands through them. There was no soap at the sink. The breakfast was only a few small containers of food. We stayed here two years ago and it had really deteriorated since then.

The room was not clean. Dental floss holder behind tv, microwave and mirror dirty. Dirt behind furniture and on window sill. Looks as if the room was wiped clean but lots of places missed. No bath soap or hand soap in room. Asked and got the bath soap. Refrigerator froze bottles of water. Breakfast was just okay. I have never left a bad review for a hotel but was disappointed. On the other hand the staff was very friendly and the beds were clean and comfortable.

Comfortable beds and great air conditioning

Staff was awesome, especially Anita at the front desk she was very patient. The bed was amazing! didn't get much sleep, alot of walking/running above me. Nice stay. would stay again.

Helpful staff, clean hotel , reasonable breakfast

Everything was fine

Ok as a budget hotel, would not use in the future. Lots of loud noise in room, refrigerator sounded like someone's alarm was going off and absolutely no soap in room.

Mold in the shower & cracked shower floor. Good thing. Room size was generous.

We checked in went to the room was clean but towels was dirty with stains on bed sheets also stain big spots well then i checked the bathroom there was no hand soaps i called to the front desk there was a lady she said i am the only one who is working rite now so can you come downstairs and i will give you some . She gave me 2 soap. Next morning i checked out there was another lady i spoke with her and told her and showed the pictures and video she was really nice to me and she gave us the discount. Over all stay was good. I hope that management work on and improve it.

Very clean nice shower

Easy in & out off of the main road. Hotel was clean and modern. Room prices were reasonable. Breakfast was a big plus, and the selection was nice. The staff wasn't particularly friendly, including the cleaning crew. It wasn't a problem. It just would have made the stay more pleasant.

I’m somewhat handicapped. I reserved a handicap room. The shower was very moldy. We asked for another room. The young man didn’t know if another was available. O. K. just give me a room with a king size bed. O. K. Again I can’t walk a whole lot. I had asked him where the ice machine was. He told me. But he failed to tell me that there are no ice buckets in the room. So back down to get an ice bucket while my wife unpacked. When I got back to the room, she said that there were no towels and washcloths. So back down to the desk. I got back to finally settle down and tried to lock the door. The deadbolt would not work. Before I went back down to the desk, I noticed that the safe didn’t have a door on it. Now I’m losing my patience. Back down to complain. Couldn’t believe that I was complaining about everything. We went to get a shower and there was no bathmat for the slippery tile. Back down. I will say that the deadbolt and safe were fixed. We’ve stayed there probably 5 previous times. Always a great experience. This might be our last time at this place. Sorry to complain but I want a safe environment and not having to ask for everything that should have been done.

We waited 13 mins to someone to show up to the front desk to help check us in. (5 families waiting in the lobby, phone ringing , no one around ) The bed was not what you want from a hotel bed. Creeks with every move. And your back hurts from the awful memory foam or the 4 small square, “pillows” Sandpaper rough and thin towels. We figured it couldn’t be that bad, it’s across from the casino. We were wrong

Rooms need deodorant and ventilation

Checked in and our first room was not clean, had no towels, the air conditioning kept shutting off, and our bath tub took forever to drain. Went to the front desk and they gave us a new room. The second room was fine but we lost vacation time by the experience and having to move everything we set up in our first room. They need some quality control on the people responsible for cleaning the rooms!

This hotel was clean and great for the money.

Very clean and comfortable

Breakfast (including coffee) was awful. The room was tired.
