Baymont by Wyndham Erie

Everything was awesome except the breakfast is very lacklustre.

Generally clean snd well taken care of. Breakfast was pretty bad as far as options and freshness. Two rotten bananas on the shelf that should have been replaced. Other chains have much better options

Great place to stay with no issues. Staff is very polite and helpful.

Henry at the front desk was stellar throughout our stay. He was patient with all he has to deal with. The entire staff is so friendly. The hotel is dated and some things need to be upgraded but for the price it was a decent stay.

Dirty carpets, wrinkly old sheets, towels and washcloths. Lamp shade dirty and did not hang straight. Odor when I first opened the door; room smelled musty. Room was spacious, comfortable mattress, bathroom clean, good water pressure. Henry was the gentleman working the desk when I checked in. He was polite and helpful.

Hotel itself is nice but the issue was dirt /stains on the sheets and cover, toilet paper rolls almost empty, dirty toilet, handsoap container was empty, so room staff need training!

My only complaint is the towels were very small, thin and scratchy.

Room was not clean well light stand was dirty. Tissue box was empty.

It's quiet, affordable and where we needed it to be. Very happy to have a microwave and fridge. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Once again had a great stay at this hotel

Didn't stay for the breakfast. Everything else was good.

Away from the main road. My niece got a bug bite.

I wish they would have more gluten free choices for breakfast.

Upon arrival there were two customers waiting at the front desk for about five minutes with the secretary, sitting in the back, possibly busy, no big deal. The one lady in front of me stated that she had stayed there a couple times and the service has always been subpar as well as finding blood stains on the sheets. We then received our key cards, went to the room and the key cards didn’t work. I then had to go back to the front desk to get our key cards, reprogrammed inconvenient, but things happen. We then went into the room with our working key cards and inspected the room like normal. Bathroom was clean and the room was large things started looking up. We then set our stuff down and then went to look at the bed. There were beat up pillows that did in fact have blood stains on them as well as hair. At this point, we were exhausted and willing to deal with the inconvenience. We then showered and went to bed. While watching TV, my wife noticed a bedbug crawling in between us. We were immediately mortified and packed up our things. I went to the front desk and showed her the video of the bedbug. She apologized and says she would immediately issue a refund as well as stating “that is a big ass bedbug”(word for word). We then drove home two hours to Pittsburgh at 12 AM with a cranky baby after being completely exhausted. Google won’t let me upload the video, but I’ve put two screenshots in the photo section. This was a completely diabolical ending to our wonderful Erie Niagara

The furniture was damaged. The lampshade was stained. The outlet for the hairdryer did not work. The coffee was very weak. The heating cooling apparatus in the room was noisy.

Very nice affordable hotel. Had it nice continental breakfast and loved the location. Located across from the casino and across the street from Sheetz

The hotel is clean and quiet and overall pleasant. The breakfast is adequate and the beds are comfortable. However, the towels are atrocious: small and like sand paper! Also the shower curtain is way too short and water goes everywhere when showering. If they could fix those two things, it would greatly improve the experience

We told the front desk that we would not be staying here again the last time. She said to please give us another try, we are under new managemnt and you will see many changes.. We have seen no changes and it was worse than the last time. Hair dryer blew up, that is not their fault, but I told the front desk she wrote it down said if I needed a hair dryer ask her if she can get me one. That was the first night of our stay. Security locks do not work on outside doors. You do not have to use your key to get in - so much for the security entrance. We should have done this a long time ago but it was a convenient place to stay. We've been asked twice (when we asked for a vacuum sweeper) if we minded doing it ourselves. We did. The one night we got to our room and they were replacing the sink and explained to us why it backed up and that they were sorry for the smell in the room. They keep spraying the room to get rid of the smell - we ended up keeping our door open and asked for the sweeper. When leaving the hotel and telling them about The different different experiences we had, they apologized, that was it. Didn't offer to take anything off the room or discount on our next stay. I wish them luck and hope they clean up their house. If you choose to stay I hope you have better luck than we have had. All the best.

This property has definitely gone downhill. Cleaning service took the used bar soap and plastic cups but did not provide replacements. Used towels were folded and put back in place to reuse. The body wash and shampoo were the exact same products. In addition, upon checkout, staff informed me that they do not print receipts but would email me one. I provided my email address but never received a receipt. This is unacceptable. Sadly, I will be looking for another hotel to stay in when for my annual visit to Erie.
