Room was dirty. Used tissue left on the floor didn't look vacuumed. "Counter in bathroom was broke. The only good thing is the water was hot. Reserved a king bed but they only had 2 fulls. Nice area to be but this hotel wasn't the best place to stay.

The room was filthy. I don't even think they wash the sheets or pillow cases for the next gas. Had a smoking room, and the ashtray had about seven cigarettes butts in it. The AC is confusing and the front desk clerk was not friendly at all. Called the front desk because of the problems in my room, he tells me to hang on, and he hung up on me. Didn't know he hung up on me, so I sat there with the phone on my ear for about 10 minutes just to find out he wasn't even there. I will never return there!

Building is old and in the back of another hotel and feels dark and unsafe. But overall service is good and okay for a one night sleep . Staff very nice and kind.

This hotel was unacceptable. Everything that the amenities that was on the website is not their only thing they have is a pool. The TV didn’t work. The Wi-Fi didn’t work. The air conditioner didn’t work. It was very nasty and black and smelly and they didn’t even want to accommodate and switch us to a different room. They actually took us out the system and said we didn’t stay there. It was a horrible terrible decision to stay at that hotel and if I was up to you guys, I will stop doing business with them as a third-party. That’s how terrible it was.

This property should not be advertised on your site. It was filthy and many customers were unwilling to stay there.

The pictures you see when booking must be from when it was 1st built. It is very run down. They have a sign in the room “if you would like your room cleaned, let us know”. My daughter asked for cleaning supplies at the front desk because the bathroom was dirty. There were dirty towels and garbage bags in the hallway. I didn’t once see housekeeping. The main staff attendant was nice & helpful, but the dilapidated appearance & uncleanliness of the place makes it a place I do not recommend.

Bed bug.. saw one for the first time in life. Stay away from Econo Lodge in Erie, PA.
-
it was located in a poorly lighted area just off the thruway. The room was pretty outdated but clean enough because I was travelling alone.

This hotel was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The elevator was out and we were on the 4th floor. The walls were dirty and the paint is peeling. I found garbage underneath the bed and some in the shower.

BTW - they no longer serve breakfast.

This place is absolutely horrible. Not unkept at all, both outside and inside. Very dirty, elevator did not work. Room was nasty. Couch was very dirty, sheet had holes in it. No where to plug in phones. Water constantly leaking from the ceiling causing water to puddle on the counter and floor, mold in bathroom as well. The toilet was broken as well, it would flush but it would just keep running because the rubber seal inside the tank is broken. No headboard, broken lamps and lamp shades. Mirrors were dirty as well. I will NEVER stay here again.

Good location, but unfortunately the lift was out-of-order, no breakfast as advertised.

Nothing place was unsafe and disgusting.

It wasn’t as expected.

Econo Lodge near casino in Erie Pennsylvania was horrible. Very dirty. Staff was terrible overall on site. There were no clean rooms. The overall outlook was horrible.

I arrived at 3:15 and couldn’t find anyone to check me in until 4pm. Place is seriously run down and staff not even trying. Carpets were stained, with sticky blotches and wet areas. Absolutely wasn’t going barefoot in my room. Curtains didn’t close properly so I had to secure them with a hair clip for privacy. Multiple long hairs in the tub. Whole place was disgusting and if I could have gotten my money back I would have left. At least the fridge and microwave worked but this is a very last resort sort of place. Ugh.

The room was disguisingly clean, the carpet was stained & nasty looking. Made to look clean, except for places that were easy to hide garbage. Like under the dresser, under the bed, in the microwave was a used paper cup. Before we could use the bathroom I had to clean the toilet. The toilet seat was dirty, the sink had hair everywhere around it. The shower had a used bar of soap & hair all over it as well. I'd say it was a place to lay our heads last minute but overall was disappointed in the cleanliness of it.

Pretty gross. Would have left if I coukd have gotten my money back. I shoujd have heeded the warnings. Spend $10 more and go elsewhere.

Ac filters were super dirty. Light shades were broke. You had a smoke film on the bathroom mirror. Wallpaper peeling off the wall. Room layout was not convenient. A bunch of surge protectors and extension cords everywhere. Bars sticking out from under the mattress that I hit my leg on. Mattress needs to be replaced very saggy and uncomfortable. Guessing it was a mini freezer on the dresser that was leaking.

Property needs to retrain or replace its housekeepers and maintenance staff. Only thing that seemed to be clean in the room was the linen for the bed and towels in the bathroom. Most electrical outlets did not work in the room, hangers were not hanging they where thrown on the floor, used soap from previous guest still left in the shower. Empty bottles of shampoo and soap. Don’t expect breakfast as advertised, they have a sign up at the desk as they no longer do breakfast as a while now. Smoke detector not even in room. 24 hour staff isn’t accurate, your lucky if a desk agent is working at 3pm - 11pm otherwise they leave a sign up to call a number that no one answers and I mean no one. Waited over 45 minutes just to get checked in. Property needs major upgrades and obviously new management/owners. I don’t expect much, but I do expect a clean, safe, & functioning room.
