Timber Ridge Lodge and Waterpark

The staff is always wonderful. It’s close to our house so we like to go there for that reason. We have been coming there for a lot of years and we have seen a MAJOR decline in the upkeep of the property . We had to switch rooms because the first one smelled terrible and the light fixture was falling off the ceiling. Moved to the second room and it was dirty and beat up. Upper bathroom was moldy and the fan/light cover wasn’t even on. Floor tiles were cracked and the overall room was rundown and dirty. Room 431.

Overall a great experience. Cleanliness is lacking, and the rooms are extremely outdated for 2026. Nice and spacious at least, and the water park area is very neat. Lifeguards should do a better job of making sure all of the excessively empty tubes are out of the lazy river when they aren’t being used though. Kinda irritating floating with the family and constantly running into empty inner tubes. I started to clear some out and the lifeguard blew her whistle at me and said I couldn’t do that. If that’s the case, make sure the extra lifeguards are clearing the water of all the extra inner tubes that are empty. Good experience overall!

Everything was great, and we had such a relaxing family getaway. We definitely plan to come back again! ❤️

We enjoyed our stay but the room seemed a bit dated for a one night stay of around $500. The light fixture was hanging from the ceiling. We fixed the lift pump on the toilet because it wasnt working. The fireplace was not working. The air conditioning unit would not turn off. It was nice to have a late check out time so we could enjoy the water park. The arcade and bowling alley was nice for our littles as well.

I love this place

Booked 2 of the 2 bedrooms and they were completely spacious. Great for my family size. The rooms were clean and didn’t have an odor. The waterpark had everyone’s attention. Had something for everyone to do.

Great family resort with accommodating and spacious suites. Waterpark is perfect size for younger children.

Love the water park. Clean property

The room was noticeably dirty, but the most concerning issue was finding a huge bug in our bed. Finding a bug where we were supposed to sleep was extremely disturbing and immediately made us question the cleanliness and sanitation of the entire room. After that, it was very difficult for us to feel comfortable staying there. For a family resort, I believe cleanliness should be one of the highest priorities. Guests should not have to worry about whether their room or bedding is properly cleaned and maintained.

Wish that the person who checked me in gave me information about the hotel. She basically gave me the keycard. And told me where the elevator was. Nothing else. No info about what was on the site. Not even the hours for the water park Found out later that I could have went to the grand cayman and use the amenities there but nope. The hotel was excellent. So very clean. For that part I really thank you but the reception check in not so much.

Employees were very helpful, our kiddos spilled chips in the living room, they sent someone up right away with a vacuum also brought us fresh towels. Place was very clean and water park was perfect for our younger kiddos. 100% going back in the future, only thing is. Is the price to stay, for two nights we paid around $800. Honestly I think it was worth it.

The pull out couch was broken and in terrible condition. Instead of just replacing it we would have had to move rooms which wasn’t convenient. They also didn’t give us any kind of compensation for the inconvenience

Great place to bring kids.

Room had a huge leak in the bathroom ceiling. We had to evacuate to another room that had a broken pullout couch even though we needed to use it for sleeping space. Happened at midnight and had to wake all family members, pack up the entire room and move to another. My daughter’s birthday celebration was very chaotic because of the pouring water from the ceiling and unsafe room conditions. The hotel was negligent and rented out an unsafe room.

Great place for family & fun! Water park looked well maintained and life guards was on top of foul play. Room was ok and freshly cleaned. Seating is limited in pool area. Lots of activities around the resort daily.
