There was no safe in the room, which was surprising. The hallway on the sixth floor was dirty, with heavily stained carpets, and the room itself did not feel very clean. The bathtub had extremely weak water pressure, and the old-fashioned shower curtain made the bathroom feel outdated. Breakfast was poor and offered very limited choices. It seemed to cater only to American guests, with no cheese, no fresh vegetables, and very little variety. Breakfast was only served until 9:30 a.m., which is quite early for many tourists. The front desk staff were not welcoming or friendly. They appeared unfriendly and unhelpful, which made the overall experience even less pleasant. Although the swimming pool is relatively large compared to those at other hotels, the surrounding area was not clean or well maintained. The only real advantage of this hotel is its central location. Parking costs $15 per night, which only adds to the overall expense. Considering the price we paid, the hotel offers very poor value for money. Overall, the atmosphere was unpleasant, the hotel felt poorly maintained, and the level of hospitality was disappointing. I would not choose to stay here again.

Great place to stay. The Imperial restaurant is fantastic.
-
The hotel was very nice. The suite room was a good size. The workout area was a little too cold for my taste.
-
Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking garage was next to property which made it convenient. Would stay here again if in town.

Parking garage has a low ceiling.

Having the parking garage right next to the hotel was very nice. The ease with which you could get your car in and out was a big plus. I checked in at 3pm on a Friday, was told by he desk clerk the restaurant opened for breakfast at 6:30am and she gave me a 'complimentary' breakfast pass. Saturday morning I arrived downstairs at the restaurant at 0630 only to be told they didn't open until 7PM on weekends. So I sat in the lobby for 30 minutes until they opened. That was NOT ideal. The Imperial Restaurant located inside the hotel was very good. I ate there twice and enjoyed my meal each time. Overall this Holiday Inn is very nice, albeit over priced. Charging almost $400 per night for one person is very steep for a location like Lancaster, PA. This is supposed to be Amish Country, no 5th Ave.

It is a noisy hotel. Street traffic noise even on the 10th floor. Front desk agent was unenthusiastic and barely mumbled a few words. Not a pleasant first impression.
-
It was an emergency booking for me. They took care of me in a rough situation
-
Love people amenities and food..... amazing experience very clean great customer service
-
Went ok. There was a bug problem in the first room that they assigned me. I promptly went to the front desk and they changed rooms. Second room was ok.

Limpieza y comodidad

Parking was easy and close by!
-
Staff friendly clean accommodating
-
I don’t like that the only coffee available is in the room, whereas other hotels have coffee in lobby 24/7 nor was there a variety of food and snacks available to purchase
-
Nice room sufficient

Everything about my stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was yummy, and the parking garage was extremely close.
-
The really disgusting part was the bathtub. I was disgusted by having to shower in a bathtub with 3 or 4 inches of sitting water. My husband felt unsafe in the bathtub. The grab bar is on one corner and he couldn't hold on to it while showering.
-
Only thing is that we did not have an iron in the room but had an ironing board. Actually needed one but made do.
