Lancaster Marriott at Penn Square

Overall, everything was great. However, while I was having breakfast in the King room at about 8:40 AM, a woman was arguing in what appeared to be a Middle Eastern language with the male manager, I presume; the young woman instructed a waiter to start removing the chairs from the tables around me. The male manager asked him to stop, as I was still there eating. It was quite annoying.

We love the location when we are town

Exceptional

Everything was excellent.

It was close to the central market and restaurants There were homeless people everywhere begging for money and some were yelling offensive things.

Great location, convenient parking garage, lovely room Only complaint- someone prior to us had set alarm clock for 6am- woke us up- momentarily disoriented, didn't know where noise was coming from, finally realized it was clock but clock tethered to nightstand, couldn't see to figure out how to stop it without contacts in. Do rooms still need alarm clocks? No one uses anymore. If so, maybe cleaning staff could check them to make sure alarms are off when new guests check in to room. It was a little annoying- we didn't need to wake up early!

Nice place

Great room! Comfortable stay!

The hotel was very nice, very clean, and staff were friendly. However, we were in the east tower in room 663. We were just above a rooftop bar. Lancaster was hopping on the saturday night whcich we though was great. However it became very clear quickly that it wasnt. This was the noisiest hotel room that I have ever stayed in. We were six flights up and I could hear conversations of people on the street, all of the bar noise, all of the street noise (including all of the loud trucks and motorcycles). It was as if there were only single paned windows. We had a suite and were paying $700 a night. I didnt mention anything until check out becuase what was the staff going to do about the noise on the street or in the bar. However, shame on Marriot for not properly sound dampening/proofing their windows/walls, etc. Not worth the price for only 2 hour of sleep.

The hotel was very nice ! We reserved a king bed but there were none ready when we arrived so we had to get two double beds.
