Courtyard by Marriott Lansing

The inside of the hotel was extremely run down. The drywall was chipped all over, on the first and second floor. The smell inside was awful, it smelled like people were there smoking. I had 2 toddlers with me and we left after being there for 3 hours. We booked due to a power outage at our home and preferred returning home in the July heat instead of staying there. The hotel room wasn’t cleaned out as well as it should have been. The closest had a whole bunch of drywall dust, it covered the iron, iron board, hair dryer etc. The sink did not look wiped down. I understand trash cans are for trash, but they had no liner and were coated with a yellow layer of what looked like vomit. Again, we left after 3 hours because we couldn’t stand the smell and it was overall gross being there.

It was easy to book and get to the location. There was hair between the sheets of the bed. There was a weird white substance on the couch the bathroom, walk-in shower on the floor look really dirty. I had to put a towel down the step in, and then there was mold on the inside of the wall in the shower. And right by the bed there’s like a little lamp had dust all over it and it’s right there by the pillow.

The was the best stay of the trip. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help make our stay great. 10/10 would recommend

Nothing! This was by far the worst experience! They made me (handicap) walk to the furthest room from the ONLY elevator. I clearly had oxygen on and we had to call and ask for a closer room.

Staff was amazing, but property was terrible inside and outside..pool was closed most of the stay and when finally open ice cold..they are in middle of remodeling so half stuff didn't work, drains didn't drain, found rusty nails in pool area, put us all in the wrong rooms, took about 2 hours to finally find a room that we rented 2 months ago..terrible terrible place

The tv barely worked. Fixtures were missing. Baseboards were missing, wallpaper falling down.

The location I didn’t have a microwave in my room, and the pool was ice cold.

Pool was closed,only reason I booked was because they said there was a open pool on site to get there to a closed pool,maintenance said it was open and then immediately the person at the counter said its closed very rudely....If you want a basic over-priced hotel...This is your place.

Overall good stay

They have just completed renovations on this hotel. Pool was not open when we were there, im not sure why it looked nice. No microwave in room, beds were very comfortable.

Clean room and nice area. Just need to get the pool heater fixed.

Noise at night was unacceptable. apparently there was a wedding party and they were extremely loud both Friday and Saturday night until 1 or 2am. Impossible to sleep through it. Bathroom ceiling had mold/mildew on it. Fitness center floor was dirty, no towels, no working water and for whatever reason the heat was blasting at 85 degrees. I had to turn it down/off and turn on air conditioning every morning.

The elevators did not work. The key swipe machine not working

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at Key cards not working I had to be walked to my room every time I left. No staff available, front desk staff not friendly. No large towels in room, no trash can, phone didn’t work. Told me I hadn’t paid when I paid through booking.com.

Hotel was changing carpet which was extremely noisy and disruptive. Pool was also not available for customers.

My complaint was that the hotel was under renovation and pool closed for renovations. We were never informed of this at booking
