TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lansing North

I stay here for business and I love the full kitchen option. My double queen suite was less than optimal. Hadn’t been vacuumed, kitchen plugs didn’t work, desk lamp didn’t work and the pillows were terrible. I must have received the worst suite in the bldg.

My King Suite was much nicer and cleaner than the double Queen Suite that I stayed in last week. The desk lighting could be better.

Superb

Great customer care and nice stuff.

Exceptional

I stayed there for first time and definitely will choose it again in the future, the staff were very friendly and the room was very nice and clean, the breakfast was good with many choices. I really recommend it instead . Nothing

Nothing

It was frustrating and upsetting.

Excellent hotel. When I got there, I discovered that there was a mistake with my reservation and my room only had one bed for three adults. They made it right by comping us a second room. The pool was nice but kind of small and crowded. After all the kids left, it was nice and peaceful.

Breakfast was great, great servers-friendly and efficient. Location was just what we needed. Front desk personnel were always willing to help. Manager was agreeable to provide some relief due to problems mentioned below. Noticed longstanding problems with our first room. Door to bath was very difficult to close/open. Not well painted. Hinge was loose. I dropped a Spanish peanut on the floor and ants immediately swarmed. Front desk was quick to provide a new room however was less quality than our original room. Manager offered us points, a small rebate, etc. It was an inconvenience but not a major disaster. Again...problems were long-standing in my opinion.

Very poor

The other thing was that the shower curtain 8-10 inches from the floor, so I took a shower the bathroom floor was flooded. Had to put towels down to soak up the water. Other than those two things, it was a nice stay...oh except the pool was shut down, so no swimming!!

Bad

The staff is not only friendly, but they ask if they can make you more comfortable, get you an additional breakfast item, etc. We've stayed 5 nights on 3 occasions.

Loved our stay!

Very good
