Best Western Lexington Inn

The only negative was a musty smell in the room.

This room had stains in the hallway and on my sheets. A light switch plate was hanging off the wall. The bathroom had gunk around the sink edge and around the toilet. The shower plate was loose. Overall, it was a terrible room. Lucky for us, we were only there one night. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Clean room

The room smelt like smoke and so did the comforter on the bed. The place was pretty clean, needed some more attention to hair in bath tub and on clean towels. Overall not to bad.

The room was clean with minor imperfections which didn’t affect our comfort. Bed was wonderful, very nice included breakfast, helpful staff and small indoor pool and exercise room. Plenty of easy free parking. Would recommend.

Our stay was ok. I’m not sure about other rooms, but our room 112 needs maintenance. The window sill was ruined due to rain coming in. An outlet was completely out of the electrical box with the wires exposed. Finally, the shower head is spraying a steady stream of water on the ceiling. It looks like this has been going on for a while now because it looks as if the shower ceiling is ready to fall down. In the morning I told the young man at the check out desk about the condition of room 112. He wrote a free notes on a small sticky pad. After that we left. A question. Does anyone check the room after housekeeping cleans it? I think it will be a while before we stay at a Best Western again.

Clean room, working A/C, refrigerator and outlets. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was average.

The bathroom is very small and when the door opens it almost hits the toilet. It's really hard to get in far enough to close the door with the toilet there. Would probably be fine if it opened out instead. Also one of the main things we booked for was a pool and it was down for maintenance most of our visit.

Stayed here on the weekdays for a month. The first three weeks I had clean rooms and they were cleaned everyday. My room was ice cold, everything was perfect. But this past week was absolutely terrible. There was a bag that was covering my smoke detector, the bathroom floor was dirty, there was a wet wash cloth hanging in the shower, the room smelled of cigarettes and mildew and the a/c didn’t get cold. I was only there for two nights. And it has ruined my experience. I will not be going back. Other than these things the staff was great, the breakfast was good and plenty of parking.

The bed was comfortable. The pool was finally open on my way back thru buy not on my way to my destination. The sausage gravy breakfast was good. Coffee was good. Staff was polite. My room was dirty the second time I stayed with a sucker stick stuck to the end table and gravel and dirt under the air conditioning unit both times I stayed and happened to get the same room. Fridge handle was dirlty. Feel I should have been given a discount for the pool not functioning. Apparently its a frequent issue at this hotel.

The white powder sprinkled around the wall and headboard was troubling.
