Stayed 4 nights, pool area was closed, took forever to find room, stairs impeded rolling in luggage. No bathtub stopper, staff was not available when needed

Definitely an older hotel. The attached restaurant exceeded the room quality

Why I did not give a 10 is the lack of updates. This is a pet friendly hotel, which is awesome, but not awesome is pairing it with carpet. The rooms and halls are all carpeting. While it did not smell, the thought grosses me out. The love seat in the room also had a ton of scratched I assume from cats over the years using the sofa arms as a scratch post.

I feel like I paid more than what I got. The hotel is currently under renovation, I get that, and I'm sure it will be great when it's done. However, I was disappointed in how much it's declined since I stayed there two years ago. The pool and hot tub are huge, and I liked that. There is also a quiet hours policy in place. Unfortunately, my neighbors thought that this rule didn't apply to them. Only half of the hot tub's jets were working, and setting the thermostat to the temperature we wanted was a task that could confound a NASA engineer. In the meantime, I will stay elsewhere until the renovation is completed.

wish the hot was working only half worked but still nice

Staff was excellent and super helpful! Its name being a convention center had my expectations a little high for this location, to no fault of their own. I had hoped for it to be a walkable property and it’s not quite. While it’s under renovations, current use of the hotel is a 3 star hotel due to its poorly remodeled spaces over years and an overriding smell of mold in the bathroom. Breakfast was standard for continental breakfast. The staff though, is what prompted my 4 stars. They were the gems of this location. They really were kind and helpful throughout my stay!

Clean room and facilities paired with great service. I enjoyed celebrating my family reunion here!

Staff at check-in was very helpful - not sure of her name - she was on-duty around 9pm on Monday July 13. Very personable - gave us lots of good information. Interacted so nicely with my granddaughter!

convenient and affordable

This was terrible experience snd I have been unable to get my money back. I stayed at the property about ten minutes. There was a breyerfest convention and people were constructing things at midnight. The air conditioner did not work and it appeared to be renting rooms by the hour. There were neon lights with room numbers in the window. The doors were not locked and anyone had access.

Somehow we ended up with a king bed in a handicapped room so I get the feeling we somehow paid for their highest priced room when there were lots of other rooms open. Easy stress free stay and lots of activities if you have time to take advantage of it.
-
New room that was not finished, we had ants in our room ,on the beds, we stay one night enjoy the fish convention, then we left early, would not stay here again!!
-
We stayed just 1 night. The room looked a little tired but it was clean and quiet. What stood out to us was the Sedona Taphouse which was attached to the facility. I don't think it is the same owner, but it seemed very popular for a Tuesday night.

Clean, great rooms. Front desk staff goes above and beyond. Highly recommend.

The property makes it clear no smoking and some frequent visitors disregard the policy. I wonder if the policy is truly being enforced. Also, make sure if your a woman and like a spacious vanity , ask for the second floor. I was given the first floor and the bathroom looked dated almost locker room like no place to put my makeup and other hygiene products. The eating area is dated and chairs look used and old.

Hotel does not match the pictures shown on line … only one area looks like that . Was really hoping the hot tub looked as pictured … it did not . Jets did not work well and the water feature was not working . Overall served its purpose !

Location was nice minus construction. Sedona Taphouse. I ordered guacamole and chips. Had a sticker from avocado in my food. I know mistakes happen but nothing no sorry or anything def didn’t finish eating it.

Staff was helpful, though housekeeping took dirty towels and didn’t leave fresh. Pool was freezing and had no towels. Hot tub jets were weak and only half worked. Water in hot tub was very cloudy green. Overall, we weren’t in town for the hotel, so everything was fine. Bed was ok and room was quiet.
