Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington/UK Coldstream

The pool was not in working order when we were there and we were not notified. The pool was a part of the reason we chose this hotel. Our doors to our room and bathroom did not close unless you lifted up on the door, and they were heavy. Otherwise, the atmosphere was great and the area downstairs was great for using the tables to play games and eat.

Very quiet,friendly staff. Ten minute drive to downtown and University of Kentucky.

I hate posting this because we stay here every year and love it but this visit was disappointing. Our stay started out with the pool being closed, only one elevator, no carts to bring in luggage, room was clean but there was no bedding for the sofa, half hour after we arrived the fire alarms went off and we had to evacuate. At the end of our stay there were no working elevators therefore we had to carry all our luggage down from the 4th floor.

Stayed 4th of July. Advised after check in that pool was closed for the weekend. Get to room, TV didn’t work. Go back to front desk and found out some are down as switching providers and internet service. Told manager we were very upset, 6 kids with no pool, no TV and no internet was no bueno. They switched us rooms to one that had TV, comped our rooms and gave us 2 free appetizers. Just a rough way to start our big family vacation

Property was beautiful and clean with friendly staff. Only downside was that the pool was closed.

We were very happy with our stay at Embassy Suites. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the cocktail reception after being on the road for hours and the breakfast in the morning was great.

Pool not operational

Overall Embassy suite was nice. I gave it a three for amenities because the pool was not working. It was very hot the day we checked in and we were expecting to swim and found out the pool wasn’t working.

Bed was broken. I was placed in handicap accessible room without request. Food ran out a hour before breakfast end. Pool was broke. Staff offered points with an attitude. Nothing else. Worse Embassy stay ever. I always use them everywhere.

The elevators were broken, the fire alarm went off twice in one day, the TVs were not working, the suite door was very difficult to close, it didn’t come with sheets or pillows or blankets for the pullout couch and didn’t have enough towels, and at breakfast, there were no plates or bowls. From beginning to end, there was something majorly wrong with each part of our stay.

Only 1 elevator working. Pool closed. Charged parking( 40.00) after reservation said all fees included. Hotel is beautiful, but service is on par with motel 6. We came to swim. To late after you arrive to go somewhere else. Definitely not Hilton standards we have had in past. Buffet breakfast was all cold..and we went early. Omelet station was good. Will not stay here again.

Spacious When we arrived in our room and there was a dirty washcloth on the floor so we put it outside in the hallway. Next morning housekeeping had placed it on our door handle to the room when they walked by to clean an adjacent room. The pool was closed during a heatwave in our area and they only had one working elevator for everyone to use. Very disappointing stay.

Embassy Suites lived up to its reputation. Nice room, evening food and drinks and complimentary breakfast. I would stay here again!
