Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington/UK Coldstream

Our family recently stayed at the Embassy Suites and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were really clean and also the pool. The amenities were awsome especially the free drinks from the bar and the evening free snacks. The free breakfast was also wonderful. I loved the made to order omelet! There were also so many sitting areas that were designed beautifully! The fountain was so pretty. The only negatives were that our door was hard to open and close on our room and one of the elevators wasn't working but overall I would highly reccomend this hotel. We had a wonderful stay at embassy suites.

Convenience outstanding

The breakfast was very good and it was always stocked regardless of the time. The omelette station was nice. The rooms were very nice and clean. Room Service or the cleaning staff were excellent! I could tell that they had been in my room “EveryDay.” The staff at the desk was not friendly at all. The only time the staff said anything to you is when you checked in and when you checked out and I stayed at this hotel for 6 days!

Happy hour welcome with free drinks, nice bar area, and made-to-order omelets for breakfast.

The staff was amazing. One of our TVs didn’t work and the maintenance gentleman was so amazing. The you g lady at the front desk was sweet as well. I’m not sure what laundry soap they use but it does not smell good. In fact it stinks. A couple of our towels were not white and had hair in them. The sheets and blankets also smelled of whatever soap they use and its was not pleasant. The soap and shower gel also smell terrible. I have stayed and worse hotels with better scents. Breakfast was great. They should think about including turkey sausage and bacon as not everyone eats pork. This is my second stay here and I had the same experience. Thought the towels and bedding were a fluke the first time but nope, it’s how they roll. May need to try another hotel on my next trip to Lexington.

We also enjoyed the happy hour and the free breakfast was delicious.

Very clean room and very friendly staff from the check-in desk to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff. I will definitely stay here again.

We didn't have any hot water in the bathroom. We had to ask several times - at least 4 times before they had someone come and check it out. After they checked it out, we had to move rooms. In the new room, we only had one remote. We mentioned that and they said they would send another one up... Well.... we're still waiting. When we checked out the next morning, the person at the desk tried to mention that they forgot to get a card to charge the $15 a day parking fee... We were like really??? They said they would waive the fee and we were like more than that needs to be waived. Bottom line, the experience was not what we expected nor paid for.

Loved the inside of this hotel. All the rooms were on the perimeter facing the lobby area where they had a beautiful fountain. Breakfast was free and was a buffet style but they also had a chef who cooked your eggs the way you wanted. They also served dinner but you order at the bar. The menu was the same all week. When you check in, you also get a voucher for two free drinks every night you’re staying. They had a speciality drink every night along with white or red wine, miller lite beer, or specific liquors - vodka, gin, bourbon, tequila, rum - with a mix of your choice or amaretto. The speciality drink while we were there was mango, coconut margaritas. The first night was vodka and pink lemonade.

The building and rooms are nice and modern. But, definitely no typical Embassy Suites. Front Door was stuck, poor water pressure, breakfast was below par, wifi was weak. For an Embassy Suites, very poor.

This is a beautiful property with spacious suites. We ate at the on-site restaurant, which was simple but very good and convenient. The breakfast is a great value.

Clean

When I went to the desk to make the switch the next day, they said they still didn't have the room that I reserved. So the adult with whom I was traveling had to sleep in the pullout couch both nights of our stay. Promise made, PROMISE NOT KEPT.

Love the renovations.

One of the best hotels for the price and amenities we've ever stayed at. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plan to stay here again when we're traveling.
