La Quinta Inn Lexington/Horse Park

Clean, quiet. Everything worked. Could not find the elevator. Floor was cracked, moldings loose.

Layout of the rooms and cool bathroom.

The location was excellent. It was near the venue we were attending, which made commuting easy. The rooms were updated, but the flooring was abysmal. The linoleum had gaps and breaks, and it looked like they filled them with putty or something. The first room was so bad that we had to ask them to move us to a different room, which was only slightly better. The room price was extremely high. For what we paid for the 3-day stay, it would have covered a 5-star room in most other places. Constant noise in the halls, including barking dogs, was annoying. The hotel is old, and they tried to update some rooms, but I think they missed the mark.

Smells like mildew

Everything was fine

It was really convenient, quiet! Everything was cleaned, room was huge. The bed was comfy. Shower was great! The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I was really worried about how the stay would be but it was great! We will be staying there again. There really was nothing. I would say there was only one remote for the TV for the living room and bedroom, really not a big deal.

Bad

Staff were excellent; the building wasn't very accommodating. Our shower door would not remain closed, among other issues with the building. Will not go back.

Good value for the money - would stay there again if need be

Was not clean and had a smell to the room. You can also hear everything. Checked out the next morning.

No

Good for the value! Pet policy is more complex than indicated on the website for service dogs.
