The property was wonderful. Just wish the weather would’ve been nicer to enjoy the outdoor pool.
-
We really enjoyed our weekend stay and plan to return soon.
-
The AC was not working well but they sent a technician up and provided a fan.
-
wheelchairs aren't liked very much and damn sure not accommodated.
-
the ac didn't work after the 3rd time management moved me to a. different room that was so much smaller with a balcony that went to the inside so it was so loud and my mom was in a wheelchair and the room was no workable. the lifts at the pools didn't work. management called me a lier in my face. just ridiculous treatment for 194.00 a night never again. It was 4th of July weekend they had 1 luggage cart. my mother was so out of place due to being in a wheelchair it was like she was a burden to the facility.

The kids enjoyed the smore kits to use at the fire pits. The inside jacuzzi was lacking much need repairs and left our skin very irritated but the outdoor pool and jacuzzi was . Overall the property was nice and staff was very polite.

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival to the hotel. Everything has been nicely renovated and staff was very accommodating. I read several negative reviews about the hotel so I was a little apprehensive about staying there. Not sure why there are negative comments. We had no problems with air conditioning and it was 98 degrees. The property was pretty, the pool area was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels, the bar/restaurant was very nice, too. Granted the hotel is over 40 years old but the useable area does not reflect the age of the property. It’s close to the distilleries and other great restaurants. We will definitely return for a long weekend.

Received the wrong room upon check-in. Was supposed to get a king bed and balcony and only received a queen and no balcony.

When I arrived i was able check in early & add an additional day to my stay. Hotel has a nice restaurant and a bar. Staff at both were very pleasant. Starbucks for coffee in the morning opens at 6am which was good but would be better if it was an hour earlier. Lots of parking and the hotel room was nice.

Marriott at Griffin Gate was an awesome place to stay while attending the Robert Eskridge & Southern Daze outdoor concert at the mansion. The service was impeccable & the staff extremely friendly & accommodating. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a place in that area.

Laura at the front desk was fantastic. It’s a very nice hotel and the service was amazing. Great pool and hot tub. Wonderful amenities like fire pits and bourbon dispensing machines.

The location was what we needed for the work events we were in town for. Traffic was a nightmare, but that was due to construction. There was a terrible sewage smell that permeated the hallways and rooms. The staff moved me to a room that wasn't as bad but it was still noticeable. It was almost like the staff didn't want to admit that there was a clear and noticeable issue. This may have been instructed by management but it was odd and too noticeable to gloss over.

Loud/needs updates construction on the hwy entering the property is a nightmare legit took 35 mins at one light

This is the second time we stayed at this location. The rooms were very nice. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The price was good and the amenities were good. We would stay there again.

The property is amazing as well as the rooms and amenities. Very clean hotel and Breakfast was one of the best I've had all negative reviews of the hotel should be dismissed. Anyone would be happy staying here. The only negative i give it is the front desk could of been more helpful as far as being proactive about a booking mistake but it may be because of a language barrier I think when working at the front desk dealing with Majority Americans fluent English is important.

Very old. Room was damp and musty. Outdoor pool area was okay

It was very clean and the hotel staff was great! Although the hotel staff was great, the staff at the restaurant, Bluegrass Bistro was not. The service we received from the wait staff was terrible and they were extremely rude to us when we tried to order late night dinner even though it is advertised that they service late night food. We were excited to go to dinner here and quickly realized it was not what we were looking for. We recommend sedonas taproom Nextdoor. They were awesome and family friendly!

I absolutely love this hotel and it's location however it was my husband and my 15th anniversary and we wanted to stay for the weekend. The internet was down and we could not stream movies or shows and since it was pouring down rain and storming the entire time we couldn't use the pool or hottub outside so we thought cuddle and watch movies. However when I went to tell a staff member our internet was down as friendly and helpful as she was getting us someone, he was NOT! He came to the room asked us what the issue was we explained he looked at us and said service is spotty in this old place and doesn't work in all the rooms, sorry... then he turned around and walked out!! Said nothing else, not even hey I'm so sorry but or hey maybe we could get you in a room with working internet since we had literally just checked in. I was shocked at how little he cared to help us. So no it wasn't the worst thing in the world by any means but it definitely left an impression on how lazy some of their staff was.
