MainStay Suites Lexington I-75

While there were several problems, the worst one was the carpeting. It felt damp and was so dirty that we left muddy foot prints in the shower. Never again will I be staying there.

My room was very clean and had great amenities as far as appliances. Bed was comfortable. The hallways and entrance area looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile (dirty floors, cobwebs, dirty windows, etc. The parking lot needs resurfaced and trash picked up. The price was good for my room. The lobby seemed clean and in good condition - just the hallways and back entrances looked sketchy. The back door did not seem to lock automatically unless you really pushed on the door. Also, the inside foyer door was not spring hinged correctly and so it banged really loud whenever anyone came in or out which was unfortunately right outside my hotel room door. So that was annoying. I would stay there again because I did like my room for the price.

The faucet on the bathroom sink was loose in the fixture, making it difficult to use. We did "make do", and I did report it to the front desk when we checked out. Everything else was just fine...

I can only complain about the black stuff around the tub, the mildew smell in the bathroom, breakfast closing early, and the need for a new seal around the door. We could see and hear everything going on in the hallway while the door was closed.

It was really gross. We also called in to let them know we would be in around 1am and the person on the phone was incredibly rude and hung up on us. The front desk guys was nice but that is the only thing I can say good about this place. Stains on the carpet so we didnt walk barefoot at all.

The property is clean and well maintained- good value for the cost and well located close to I75. Staff is friendly and competent. The breakfast is the most basic I have found at budget hotels like these - nothing bad just very very basic (there was one fruit and a couple of juices besides toast, egg etc - and 24 hours coffee though)

Accessible room was very spacious. Had kitchen wall with minimal but satisfactory kitchen stuff. Fridge has true freezer that can hold whole bag of ice so don't have to go back often ever for ice. A basic room. Good desk space and desk chair. Only one chair other than desk chair and no table for eating at in spite of big open space for it and kitchen wall.

Room was fine, nothing special. There were king sheets on a queen bed, that’s not cool. Thy don’t fit properly. The workmanship in the hotel is pretty shoddy and sloppy, like many newer hotels these days. This is a mediocre hotel, ok for one night. Breakfast was ok, eggs and sausage were good. Half of the toaster didn’t work, so that slowed things down considerably.
