Best Western Detroit Livonia

Superb

Location Dirty, smelled of mold in rooms, pool room way too hot, a bug flew from under bed never could find it. Never staying at a best western again. First and last time!

Breakfast the must!! Smell in room

Toilet tank had a very small leak, which we reported. It did not need to be repaired quickly so that worked out okay. Never received a receipt, though, for my stay there. I would consider staying again.

Ease to highway Could use an update

I checked in late to a room that had a bad toilet and not very updated or clean. When I brought up the toilet problem the staff immediately gave me a room with the same amenities. Much nicer, more updated and just much hygenic. Also, I feel because I received the first room at a discount through this site. I got what I paid for. I am posting pictures of the second room. I couldn't believe the difference.

This facility has live begbugs.. this was me and my husband’s 4th wedding anniversary and everything got destroyed because of this..worst time of my life!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!

It is an excellent place to stay during a work trip. There was a large parking area with plenty of space for semi-trucks. The surroundings were quiet and secluded, perfect for taking a walk. The room was clean and well-amenited. The staff were polite and always ready to help. I had a positive experience. Recommend!

Staff was friendly. Breakfast and dining area was very nice Has a few issues with the room that were resolved. The pool was extremely hot like a sauna so could not use it.

Not what we expected. Lots of section 8 housing Guest staying there. lots of construction workers. No. Children running the hallways. Very humid place. the carpets and sheets always felt wet.

BW has friends staff, accommodating, This is my second time staying and both stays were great, easy to get in and out, very clean

The property actually had a great value I have stayed in a lot of different hotels the past couple months and have had some pretty bad stays where you really wouldn’t expect it . But I can honestly say I wasn’t expecting much considering and it was actually the best out of the past 4 and couldn’t I was shocked and will be considering the best western more because of this To be honest I didn’t really find anything we did have to leave before breakfast started so can’t say much on that but it was expected to miss anywhere

Everything at this hotel was filthy and run down. We didn't even stay. Left within 30 minutes after driving 11 hours here and arriving at midnight. Planned on staying here for 3 nights but we had to find somewhere else to go. Not only did they have the wrong room booked for us, paid for the room showing a jetted tub in every picture and they gave us the kitchenette room that if I would have booked was $40 less than what we paid per night. There were dead bugs in the room in various places, thick hair in the bed, dripping food down the side of the kitchette fridge, dried food running down the front of the dresser, dirty laminate floors, cobwebs, weird stains on the seats of the chairs, chipping window seals, mold in the shower, and the walls looked as if they had been patched and painted 100 times in various places all over the room. Don't be fooled by the pictures online like we were. After this I will never stay at a best western again. Was told I couldn't get a refund because we booked with Expedia instead of directly with the hotel so don't book rooms here that you pre pay for either!!

Phone didn't work, the room was damp and not dirty but not as clean as it should be.

breakfast was definitely bare bones. I usually don't eat breakfast but is was a sparse selection. room smell was the biggest issue.
