Clean Room, Grrrrrrrrrrrreat Staff, Breakfast, Parking Was Grrrrrrrrrrrreat Also!!

Dirty old. Titleist was broke. Bathroom was nasty. Couldn’t believe it was a marriot

If I have to stay in Livonia, this is my top choice.

This place used to be nice years ago, but had extremely gone downhill sadly. the windows of room were extremely dirty (we had a doorwall on 1st floor) the glass was so bad I tried to take hot water to clean it myself. I also was on my hands and knees in our hotel room cleaning the floors that were also extremely dirty. Also the bed sunk to the middle and was extremely way too soft and broken in. There was weeds all along walkway and lights that were out/broken along pathway as well. We wanted to go for an evening walk around the property and it just sadly was so run down. Again, weeds coming out of cracks of cement everywhere. I almost wanted to pull them out myself it was so bad. I will say the front desk staff was SO friendly and nice though. So that was a plus. But this place needs to be renovated bad.

Nothing particular stood out. Because we booked through a third-party we were treated like third-party world customers. The place needs repairs even the company flag was torn and in disrepair. Need to work on this location.

The staff was so accommodating to my parents who required assistance with disabilities. They gave us breakfast vouchers because our sofa bed didn’t have a mattress. They also offered us lots of waters.

This hotel does not reflect the Marriott reputation for spotless, welcoming, high-end accommodations. The first thing one sees is the deplorable condition of the parking lot. It is well past time to repave it. If nothing else, at least fill the potholes. The planters at the entrances are devoid of any color or interest whatsoever and the landscaping is negligible. Once inside, the elevator lighting is so dark that it’s difficult to see the floor numbers on the panel. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable although the furniture is dated. The faucets, both sink and bathtub, leaked which was reported but not repairs were made during our stay. It appears that the windows have never been cleaned since it opened. It would be a plus if they offered a free breakfast; it’s $19/pp. To summarize, I was pretty underwhelmed with the condition of the property and probably will choose another hotel for future visits.

Clean room, staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delightful. Parking conveniently located outside of hotel.

I believe the ladies name at the front desk that morning was was named Takeisha, but thank you so much. I had a long night on the road and went to sleep twice and I had to wait almost 9 hours to check in my room. I was able to rest peacefully safe and clean thanks to her definitely will visit again. Stay there again.
