It was average, nothing to love nothing to hate Paying for parking

An Embassy Hotel is one of the only hotels I stay at when I’m traveling. The Embassy in Oak Brook was 22 miles from Chicago, it was worth it. Everything and every staff member was on point, very polite and extremely professional.

We moved to another room. Maintenance quickly fixed the standing water in the sink and tub. The room smelled as if it was recently sprayed by an exterminator. The staff was was the best part of this experience.

So, I'd give the property itself a C and the rest of it an A- to B+. But you really do need to pay attention to maintenance of the property. It will affect our decision of where to stay during subsequent travel.

Beds were horrible. Room AC wasn’t working even when telling the front desk.

The staff is usually always rude here I’ve been here about three or four times and the staff is never friendly and they aren’t helpful.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. I felt the room was not as clean as other embassy suites I’ve stayed in and it also felt a little aged. The Cook to order omelette was good, but I felt the hot/cold breakfast buffet wasn’t anything special.

For the price paid, I expect the thermostat in the room to be working properly and the cover to the AC unit not to fall off when I closed the bedroom door. I also expect the shower not to leak all over the bathroom floor when the shower curtain is appropriately closed and positioned.

The staff was great! The hotel pool needs a little help. It smelled , and the smell was stronger by the hot tub. Hopefully, they can figure that out. They had a very nice hot breakfast though and the bed was comfortable.
