Beautiful room with lots of space. Not a lot of counter space in the bathroom though.

Two appetizers and two drinks will easily be over $100 after a 20% service charge and tax, which includes that so named Service charge which is automatically included in your bill

I would 100% come back. We had nothing to do for the 4Th, took a chance on the Maya hotel. it did not disappoint. Food was amazing, staff was friendly, the property was excellent. 10 out of 10..

The restaurant is amazing. Everything else is just a bit meh.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. The outside was kept very clean at all times. The food at Fuego was delicious! We loved enjoying the fire pits at night and the firework show from our room was phenomenal! Will definitely be back.

Excellent staff. Restaurant HORRIBLE food over priced and quality and taste horrible. We ate at restaurant 3 times and every time the food was not tasty. The only reason we kept eating at restaurant was we didn’t want to leave the premises due to July 4th traffic. Take your own food!!!

They make you wait a long time to check in the $200 security deposit does NOT get returned i had to literally open a claim with my bank to get my money back the shower was dirty had hairs all over!!! For the price you would expect the best!!! Not the case at all!!!

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit so memorable!

Staying at this hotel would be fine if they were honest about the amenities they provide. They DO NOT provide a regular shuttle service to places near the hotel. We stayed two nights and the shuttle was not available during our stay (because the driver was off those days, we were told). They DO NOT provide transpo to nearby cruise docks—they go to Carnival only. We chose to stay here because we thought we’d get transpo to our cruise. They DO NOT have a private beach. They have an area with sand in it and some beach chairs that allow you to see, but not to access, the ocean. Also, neither the front desk service nor the restaurant/bar service was especially hospitable. If I had it to do over again, I would have chosen to stay somewhere else.

Enjoyed my stay here. It gave resort vibes in the U.S. loved the property down. Loved the views & the fire pits were a plus considering the chilly weather. I wished everything stayed open later than 10pm though. L.A traffic will have you missing the best parts of your stay.

Beautiful hotel, staff was excellent, restaurant food was delicious. Most important it was dog friendly however, you had to give a $300 deposit when you bring a dog. They will return the cost a couple of days after you depart but only if there’s no damage to your room.

The place is nice a little pricey, considering that the balcony view is overlooking only a piece of the ocean (looks like a lake) where outsiders can fish/drink and homeless can walk by and see right through into your hotel. The guest next to my room, we’re almost broken into because they climbed onto her balcony and tried to go through the siding window. Needless to say not private property and definitely not worth the price. especially since for late checkout it’s $100 plus and it’s $45 a day for parking for a price like that it should definitely be included but again definitely not worth the price.

Beautiful property right on the water. Rooms are clean, well appointed. Pool and jacuzzi overlook the bay. Staff is helpful and attentive

It was full of transit the hot water in the shower did not work Someone knocked on door at 8 am asking to check our television

The hotel is beautiful over all. But when we got there we had to have someone come and clean our room because the floor was really filthy. Our socks were black from walking around. They are doing construction in the building so we were woken up by 6 with workers walking around and talking. Not to mention the machinery that was being used. Over all, once the hotel is finished with their remodeling I think I would definitely be back.
