The Queen Mary
About The Queen Mary
If a "Stay aboard the Queen Mary for an experience unlike any other." is for you, board the Queen Mary Hotel for an experience unlike any other. Once a world-class ocean liner, the Queen Mary, now permanently stationed in Long Beach, offers a real glimpse into what transatlantic travel was like during the 30s, 40s and 50s. With its impressive history and tradition of excellence, the ship is more than just a place to rest one’s head. It’s also a place where you can take historic tours, see paranormal attractions, browse shops, relax on the spacious sun deck or enjoy fresh seafood at Chelsea Chowder House & Bar. Even in the rooms you’ll find an impressive history, rich tradition and old world elegance. The ship’s 346 original first-class staterooms and nine suites, adorned with rich wood paneling from all over the world, Art Deco built-ins and original artwork found on the ship during her heyday, all pay homage to a bygone era. Enjoy one of the last luxury ocean liners of its kind.

Everything and everyone were great.
-
Great stay as always
-
The rooms are absolutely amazing. It is so fun sending days on the ship and thinking of all the amazing people who have sailed on it. Very fun experience. I want to plan an experience without driving.

The Queen Mary is a very busy area and the parking can be very difficult. If the staff is not in line with each other it can make it extremely difficult for guest. Once the guest navigates through all the traffic to go to the Queen Mary and the each day an extra $40 for parking the quest should be able to park without so much stress the Queen Mary allows their guest to go through. I absolutely want to go again though! The adventures are so much and the hotel staff are really amazing. (It is just parking and getting to parking)

Everything about the Queen was excellent including the food and drinks!
-
The rooms are quite small, but this place is -filled- with history, and you can feel it!
-
We came as a family trip and we loved it.
-
It was great but the breakfast was over priced.

Love the idea of stepping back in time to experience this beautiful ship but still have the amenities of a comfortable hotel. The only downside is that the stateroom walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors conversation if they are louder talkers but we were made well aware of this at check in & it was quite around bedtime so it wasn’t a huge deal for us. They have done so much restoration work to bring this ship back to life & it’s truly beautiful. We can’t wait to come back & stay again!

Was a very comfortable stay! The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. Very convenient that there is a water ferry available there and free bus transportation.
-
This place is amazing and very clean for such an old ship. I had a lovely time and would definitely stay again.
-
Nice hotel, perfect before a cruise.
-
Love the boat the rooms and the tours. Great place to stay
-
Interesting place!

Check in staff was friendly and helpful explaining all amenities. The Promenade Cafe had a great menu, great food and wonderful service. The included tour was fun and very informational about the history of the property. This former ocean liner turned hotel is a wonderful property, loaded with history and original features from the original Queen Mary. Our teenaged grandsons loved it as well. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Had a great stay. Helpful staff and unique spot to stay for the night
-
Exelente todo.
-
Love the art deco and the history. The carpet needs replaced in the Bar. The charcuterie was underwhelming. The staff were excellent and I would stay again. The property needs upkeep and renovations to maintain the gorgeous original design.
-
It’s definitely historic! We enjoyed immersing ourselves in how it use to be with modern amenities. Best part was wondering around in the early evening when all the tours where done and felt like we had the place to ourselves while doing our own self guided tour.

For an old ship you get what you pay for.
