It was a great experience I liked that so much of the interior, including my room, was preserved from the past

My stay on the Queen Mary was lovely. I went on a cruise the next day and it's right next to the cruise port. The ship is very fun. This year is it's 90th anniversary. They've kept it as authentic as possible. The room was cute and the bed was comfortable. It shows its age for being 90 years old but in a quaint way. There is a lot to do. Restaurants, tours etc. This is my second time staying on the Queen Mary and I'll definitely be back.

Wry fun place to stay

Booked a room for convenience to catch a cruise ship on 6/29. There was a music festival the weekend prior and the parking lot areas leading up to the Queen Mary entrance was blocked off as the dismantling of festivities took place. QM should have provided golf carts rides to their guests from the drop off point to the front entrance. Elderly and disabled guests were also walking through the messy parking lot without any offer of assistance. The parking attendants were rude and not helpful. Disappointed with our welcoming as a group of 5 that booked 3 rooms.

The staff was great! We had such a great time exploring the boat.

It truly is a step back in time. Very cool and well maintained. And the restaurants on board are great. Service in the restaurants is more around 3 rating. But hotel staff is definitely a 5.
-
They had an event the weekend prior that took up the entire parking area. Getting to the hotel and out of it was horrible. Didn’t get there until Monday evening and there was still about 90% of everything still there. Had to be dropped off far and walk with luggage to hotel and to cruise the next morning. Wish we had been notified in advance not the day before.

Our room was not ready on time, so we ended up being late for our dinner reservation with friends. The room was super cold. You are not able to control the temperature in your room individually. They were breaking down from a music festival that had occurred the days prior, so we had to park pretty far away and take a shuttle or walk. There was constant noise from that process throughout the entire stay. Overall, it was not as magical as I thought it was going to be.

We stayed on July 4, 2026. An iconic venue for a historic day.

We are glad we stayed & experienced the historical Queen Mary.

Needs redecorated.

It seemed overpriced. Almost $300 for one night, plus $100 deposit, for a pretty subpar experience. If you want to check out Queen Mary, go for it, do a tour, but it’s not really worth staying overnight. Several of the staff members were also quite rude- from check in, our tour guide, various staff we had contact with while walking around…For a one-time experience, I guess it was fine for the novelty of it, but I doubt we’ll be back.

Great pre cruise stay!

We commend the provision of such agreeable and immaculate accommodations. This experience was truly exceptional. Every aspect was splendid. It evoked a sense of stepping back in time, reminiscent of a bygone era. Furthermore, it fostered a profound sense of belonging, as though I were an integral part of a significant experience.

The ship The staff, tried to tell them about my experience and I get the same AI response from them with no resolution whatsoever.
-
Amazing Experience if you love old ships stories.
-
The best part of our stay was being able to tour the Queen Mary on our own and ultimate was touring the engine rooms and all lower level where mechanics were.
