AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, a Marriott Hotel

I really liked the pool set up. I didn’t like that at times we didn’t have access to it. We missed breakfast but overall great time, great views, clean but small room. Staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. I appreciated it as a first time visit to LA.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in Los Angeles like ever!!!

Room was clean and most staff members were helpful. Roof top deck was super dirty, saw a roach out near the tiles.

Absolutely terrible experience – one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. The service we received was absolutely horrible. The staff yelled at us and treated us with no respect or professionalism whatsoever. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely unwelcome. The room was extremely dirty and covered in dust. The condition of the room was unacceptable and did not match what we expected from the pictures on Booking.com. The photos are very misleading and do not represent what the hotel actually looks like. We were also told that the hotel had facilities such as a swimming pool, but the reality was completely different from what was advertised. Overall, this was one of the most disgusting and disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had. The service, cleanliness, and overall condition were completely unacceptable. The room and lobby were really nice at this hotel. I enjoyed most of my stay however the pool is very small and only open until 4 so it’s extremely crowded. They also don’t offer bath robes at all. I had one interaction with someone at the front desk named “Jam” that wasn’t the best no greeting or anything but aside from that it was nice.

The views and the closeness of the metro The staff - they did not explain the $18 room allowance properly then continued to blame us for not understanding even through it was explained wrong to us and they were not friendly and quite slow as the was lines were long, but somehow was in a rush when it came to us.

I absolutely loved the room and view it offered

My husband and I enjoyed our one day stay to attend a concert in the downtown area. The staff from Valet attendants to front desk, and even maintenance were personable and polite.The property is fun to explore before restaurants open, but do learn the hours of operation for the bars/restaurants/pool (most are not open during certain hours). We planned on eating at the property after the concert and learned kitchens close at 10pm and Bar at 11pm.

The room was nice, bars and amenities were great. But the one issue that I had was even after paying almost $1,200 up front, they also wanted $500 in incidentals. Which is a little too much and became an issue as we were not expecting to have $500 on hold throughout the stay. Usually it’s a couple hundred, in which we were prepared for. Wish they would’ve stated that as we would’ve been more prepared. We were notified about the extra $165 due at the property, but not the $500. Needed a little better communication on that.

Location was great and room was clean. The fact the lobby was on the 34 floor was a bit tiring but not a big deal

This hotel was in a great location. Only thing I didn’t like was how the vents face down instead of push out to cool the room. I was hot every night I was there even after maintenance came to check. It didn’t discourage me not to visit again because I’ll definitely be back.

Everything was great, wonderful amenities and wonderful staff, location was out of the ordinary but everything was great!
