Hotel Indigo Los Angeles Downtown by IHG

Staff response was very slow and not giving guest priority. They were just talking and gossiping among themselves instead of helping the guests upon arrival and at check in.

the bar staff was nice, and so was the lounge for food. Not sure why the upstairs restaurant was closed which did cause an inconvenience. it appeared to be a family hotel, i did see many with smaller kids, which is why i was surprised why no one not even at the time of check in did they share that the pool would be hosting a party. that was a surprise when you arrive with your kids and its a massive pool party only permitting women. they even asked my husband how he was able to be there which was rude since he is a hotel guest. we should have been warned about things my daughter should not be exposed to. needless to stay we didn't stay. immediately after seen security escort attendees from the party out in mist of a fist fight. seeing police outside on the curb, and then being startled by once of the attendee sliming another into the glass window where we were seated. must say i would give that stay a 3/10.

However, this time around, we had a much worse experience. The front desk staff were not friendly and seemed annoyed by our presence. They didn’t even bother to greet us or answer our questions. The room we were initially assigned to was in terrible condition. The furniture was falling apart, and the bathroom was dirty. We had to be moved to a different room at 2 am one night because someone was smoking weed. Thankfully, the front desk person that night was understanding and moved us to a different room.

The room was spacious, clean, and it was close to the university where I was visiting.

Also, non Tesla EV drivers should not stay here. No charging provided at all. We would have been stranded if it wasn't for a friend's apartment.

Nice place to stay, everything near by, easy to visit every tourist spots.

I brought our two kids. It was a comfortable experience. The Staff during the entire stay- I appreciated and enjoyed their welcoming and hospitality. If I can remember, Lawrence, Andy and the members responding via text Briserya, Shiriah. The beds and pillows were so comfy. And I liked the model/style of the AC.

The hotel is a bit pricey, to include the 60 a night parking, but they provide top-tier service.

I didn’t like bathrooms. Floor was getting wet easily

The hotel is clean. The lobby is well maintained and the hotel staff was helpful. The bathrooms look good. The framing around the beds, along with the chairs in the rooms need replacing and major cleaning. The location is ideal.
