Holiday Inn Louisville East - Hurstbourne by IHG

Asked for clean sheets and towels never got them the staff was rude and beastfast was way to high wasn't worth it

It was a decent stay

Very clean and comfortable!

The property was a hidden gem. Surrounded by some abandoned hotel units. It was absolutely stunning inside. We were in town for a huge girls basketball tournament. Only downfall was that their pool was closed which we were really looking forward to and they couldn't give us any towels because there were so many people in the hotel.

Reservation was cancelled on arrival due to no rooms available. Despite booking on Expedia.

Rooms themselves were great, the staff were great. When, and the solely reason I booked the room was it advertised a restaurant, bar, and outside seating area. The restaurant and bar were closed all weekend, and I never found an outside seating area. Blatant false advertising.

Staff very friendly

Half of the hotel is shuttered and barricaded. Breakfast was as bad as s it gets!

Every year we make a trip to Louisville to visit Churchill Downs to watch the horses run. The last "3" yeas we have stayed at Holiday Inn Hurstbourne. The rooms are always clean and the staff is great. For $15 you get a full breakfast. Be sure to pay at check in as they charge $18 if you wat to pay that morning. While the hotel doesn't have a functioning restaurant, there are several placed withing walking distance. We always visit the sports bar/restaurant Brownies "The Shed". We will again stay there next year.

Front Desk Staff (Dee) above and beyond

front desk at arrival not welcoming, at all..in back one question about the deposit of my credit card was very blunt in replying....

Dee was the morning front desk staff and she was soooooo nice and helpful. She went above and beyond to assist me. I needed a little extra time to curl my hair and she allowed me to do so before my check-out. When I got to the lobby she gave me a water and make-up wipe to go. THANK YOU DEE!!!!! FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND.

Went to breakfast and had a long black hair in my eggs. Tried telling different people in management and all they wanted to do was give us an extra breakfast coupon. Unfortunately after finding the hair there is no way I could eat there ever again. How would you feel if you found the hair in your eggs??

Do not judge a book by its cover. They are doing renovation in the area around the hotel. Once you find the small entryway you will see a beautiful hotel. Inside is wonderful. Staff was kind and on top of everything you wanted. Bar in lobby. Food on premises or within walking distance. Grocery store a 1/2 block. We would stay there again. Very clean and quiet rooms.

Awful bed, loud generator outside, spotlights outside my window that lit my room like a laser light show. I have pics. My friend also stayed and the employee "forgot to finalize his room" so a stranger came in while he was getting out of the shower!

The walk in shower was nice but, it was so slippery and the shower door should have had an handle on it instead of one very small nob which is an safety issue.

It was closed due to gas leak!

Easy to main highway

Nothing Everything. We had a horrible experience here. Extremely rude staff & bathroom conditions were awful. Also the room literally fell apart.
