Red Carpet Inn - Louisville

The only thing I liked was that my room door stayed open while I brought my stuff in. No phone, TV didn't work. Wifi didn't work. Peephole was stuffed with cotton. The room smelled funny and was not carpeted. Ice machine was broken. Had to duck to rinse my hair in the shower (I'm 5'10") No overnight front desk attendant.

Roaches, ants and various bugs

There were at least a dozen roaches in the room, and at around 2:30am some dude was banging on a door of an adjacent motel room screaming “LET ME IN!” Definitely will not be back.

I killed two roaches within 2 minutes of being inside the room.

Great value

I dropped off my stuff in my room, was told that my online payment went through, but I needed to drop back by in the morning to sign my paperwork because the printer was out of paper. They come back at 10:30 PM from my event to find that my things have been taken out of my room and my room was given to someone else. No phone call recorded no message sent. I offered to pay, but then I was told there was nothing left for me to pay for because I didn’t have a room. Super frustrated because I ended up having to go to another hotel last minute during a very heavy event weekend. I had to pay twice as much, but fortunately for me, they were very understanding and they took great care of me. Kudos to the Motel 6. Left my phone number said they were supposed to call me about the whole ordeal. Still haven’t heard back about it.

When checking in, we were not greeted by staff. Plus, there were no staff on hand when we went to check out at 7:15 am. I have no idea if the amenities were available since there was no way to go into the office area. We plan to not stay here again because of three different times people tried entering our room. Please, don't waste your money on this hotel. It's not worth the $130 we paid for one night.

Stayed a few minutes and saw 3 bugs. Left immediately and went to a different place! Bugs

I did not have the breakfast however, the room was clean large had a refrigerator and a microwave. I was very happy. The shower was fantastic. Everything was fine

Pleasant

After paying in advance to book a room at noon we were told at check in they were all booked up( lie) before a older BF turned out lights and closed up telling us to get our refund from expedia . After calling Expedia and being told NO to a refund despite having the receipt, we were left with no option but to break the law and camp outside in the city at large. As of this review still have yet to receive a refund from red carpet in. Nor Expedia

Woke up with roaches on us

The staff was absolutely wonderful, friendly helpful. However we woke up at four in the morning with roaches all over us on our bodies in our bed in our bathroom. It was a nightmare.

Very peaceful and quite clean no bugs wish I could have stayed longer
