Aloft by Marriott Lubbock

The room was clean! Love the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. Idk about the bar. It never open while I was there. They had one housekeeper that was very sweet. She came in and made our bed. I hope she had a great Birthday! I like they were PET FRIENDLY 💕.

The location for a Texas tech visit was good and not a bad drive from the hotel. This hotel sits right near retail and restaurants which is very convenient in case you want to walk and leave car parked. It was quiet and a nice place to stay. Did not use amenities. One elevator was out of service and the other got stuck during our time there as we noticed the fire department on our floor assisting. The hallways felt a little too dark (darker than the norm at other hotels). Nice lobby area though. Room with 2 queen beds was very spacious. Linens and towels felt and looked clean. Nice big shower and bathroom vanity area however not all lights were in working order in the bathroom. Shower pressure also felt a little low. Overall not a bad stay.

Location. Close to shopping/restaurant. Walking distance. Refrigerator didn’t work. Not super clean, but okay. Ice maker on our floor didn’t work. Elevator broke while there. Luckily we were not in it when it broke or we would have been late for very important ceremony. No continental breakfast. Don’t care for sliding barn doors for bathroom areas. Not very private.

The staff were very helpful. The first room we were given had a fracture in the window that ran to the edges three ways. They moved us immediately. The next room was nice but we felt a little small. We would need a suite next time. Conveniently located to shopping, dining, and events. We will stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay, it was my first time staying at an Aloft property. Courteous staff, easy check-in/-out, spacious and comfortable lobby lounge area, the bar service and selection was great, clean and cozy room, fair price, convenient location, safe area of town - the works. Looking forward to a future weekend excursion at Aloft.

Our vehicle was broken into sometime during the night. When we found the damage in the morning and brought it to the staff’s attention, we were given a towel and told that the manager would check footage from the security camera near the vehicle when they arrived to work in an hour. Not much empathy or assistance was provided. We will not stay here again.

So, we had to use the hanger provided to rig “a contraption” to keep the door shut.

I really liked the location. The room was not clean. The lights did not work, only the lamps. The air conditioner leaked so much water on the floor.

Staff was great with checking in and room was super clean.

If you don’t want to sleep stay here! Having a whole softball team and graduation made for a crazy weekend! They tried to bump part of out

Graduation weekend and a softball tournament made things crazy. Manager was helpful but front desk staff was useless. The guy put on headphones and played his video game ignoring the fact that Boston University got out of hand with very loud music in the common area. He could careless that the elevator broke and other guests were annoyed by the noise. Rooms are run down. Our shower dripped the whole time to the point we had to put the bathmat in the shower because of the noise off the drain. Bathrooms were not cleaned well and the floor has big gaps in the planks.

We didn’t eat at the hotel or use any of the amenities. We were just there overnight to sleep. Our room had gnats coming up out of the bathroom sink which was surprising.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, was traveling with 2 dogs and the outdoor pet area had not been tended to in quite some time. I let the staff know twice that the pick up bags were out (all 3 sections). Unfortunately this was never addressed during our 2 night stay and we specifically selected Aloft dut to being advertised as "pet friendly
