Manger and staff are great
-
Pool was closed for no reason it didn't say anything about the pool not being available
-
The room was clean except for the used condom behind an end table. The a/c worked well. The majority of electrical plugs did not work. The piece of sheet metal at the base of the bed was odd. The freezer did not refreeze our ice blocks. The shower was hot and the towels were decent. There was a pile of bedding behind the counter in the check-in area. Both during check-in and check-out, the employees were not present. We had to wait for someone in a different room to appear. Breakfast was nominal… hard boiled eggs, barely cooked sausage links and dried out biscuits, 2 muffins, 3 packaged fruit bars, a few slices of white bread, a pitcher of room temperature water, cold orange juice and hot coffee along with 2 choices of cereal. If the property didn’t offer security, cameras should be installed to help monitor the parking areas. The pool was closed. Why?Upon checkout, no one greeted us or asked about our stay. Needs to be advertised as a motel, not hotel. 5.0, not 7.0 rating.

Perfect budget motel. Staff very attentive. For my one-night stay, great.

Breakfast buffet was good.
-
Highly upset that I don't get my deposit back. Two from a month ago I need my deposits back
-
Definitely not worth money. Even if everything worked right.

There were no blankets on the bed. Or in the room. 2 of the 3 outlets were not in working condition. But was an ok place even though as a handicapped person (wheelchair) the room was very small and limited area to move. If you need a place to only lay your head… it is ok.

I was not expecting much for a simple 1-night stop on a long journey, but this America's Best was very good. The room was simple, but very clean, very comfortable, had everything I needed (clean bed, shower, even TV with some of my favorite channels). The breakfast was much better than some motels I've stayed in with a much larger selection of items. It's not a 5-star Michelin motel, but for my purposes, I would give it at least 4 stars-plus.

On the last night of our stay, starting at about 8:45PM, the people staying in the room next to ours started to party. They partied from the back of their pickup truck, which was backed into the parking space right outside our door. The music was loud and intrusive to our sleep, and the revelers were yelling and carrying on at full volume. I called the front desk to complain. Despite very few people staying at their property, he was unaware of the party going on. He said he would investigate and call me back, but he never did. After 15 more minutes of unabated noise, I called him back. He claims he told the group to relocate to the party pavilion on the property and to turn down the music. And then he said that if the noise continued, I should call the police. The noise/party ended after another 30 minutes or so. It is unconscionable that the manager considered it to be MY job to contact the police and not his responsibility. The remainder of the night was uneventful. I think we should be given a refund on the one night since out sleep was disrupted and our safety concerns were elevated.

Pool was winter covered in midMay (104*), Also did not have the jacuzzi tub in the room (we reserved with it). Need proteins at breakfast like scrambled eggs and peanut butter packs for waffles, otherwise its cereal, toast, biscuits, good spread as long as you're there before 8:15 (6-9am) also Google maps calls Slaton Drive 'Ave Q' when directing to driveway, watch for UHaul and go across highway at same spot.

The best thing was the breakfast. Check in was horrible. We arrived at 2 pm hoping we could get in early. We were told to come back at 3 and MAYBE the rooms would be ready. Well, they weren't. We didn't get in until almost 3:45 pm.
