Motel 6 Lubbock, TX

Crack hotel with holes in the wall roaches and flies. Mold in the restroom and furniture from 1980. Disgusting.

Up on arrival the staff refused to accept our prepaid reservation through Expedia, The Lady at the Counter was not only rude, but refused to give her name and the contact information to the person that I could complain to. Ended paying again because we needed a place to stay lack of availability in the area, due to other events. 2nd night while walking the dog, a lady approached me for help, because she could not find the night clerk to assist her in checking out, I walked up to the front desk, door was locked, lights off, post was abandoned. Most fixtures in the room were in need of repair, and no trash cans, mini fries or microwaves in the room. I highly do not recommend this location at all.

The room was clean except it smelled like smoke. Not much of a comforter. I checked in at 10pm and the waiting area was not air conditioned so pretty hot. Clerk was exceptionally nice.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke. Smoke detectors where covered up. Shower was so gross that we couldn't even use it, or wouldn't, at least.

Absolutely nothing but that it was right off the highway. The place is run down! There's patched up stairs going up to the room. Once I got in the room it was hot, stinky, dirty with no microwave or fridge. It was overpriced and the deposit was more then I paid at any other motel 6.

Worse experience of my life. Signs of bed bugs, no working TV, no wifi, no working phone, no hot water, the room was filthy, as soon as I checked in I wanted to leave. But was told I wouldn't be getting a refund. I even had the insurance. She was very rude. I got ahold of Expedia they even called motel still no refund. Site says free breakfast nope not even that... I took pictures of how disturbing it all was.

I require full refund. Also. They overcharged me as well. They charged me double—Expedia charged me, and Motel 6 charged me.

At the time of check in I was told they don’t take 3rd party reservations so even after I paid for the room thru Expedia I still ended up paying again just so we had a place to sleep. It was graduation weekend and there was no where else. I am pretty disappointed in this experience.

Arrived at the site and was told they did not accept 3rd party bookings. This is probably on Expedia but I was stuck with no room on graduation week after driving 9 hours. Hotel staff offered a room for way over twice the standard price. Expedia was also no help and didn’t even refund the price until the next day.

Nothing, they cancelled my reservation without telling me, and now Booking.com isn't refunding my money. This is the second time I rented a place through booking.com that cancelled my reservation without notice and yet booking.com hasn't refunded my money. Everything, especially booking.com recommending such un-professional places. they need to do a better job making sure their clients get what they paid for.

The room was recently renovated except for the bathroom.There was no microwave or fridge. The cable sucked especially for dish. It took 20 minutes of letting the water run to get a warm shower. The pillows were like sleeping on pieces of paper. I wanted a room with a kitchenette but I think they were all being renovated. The pool looked like it was usable. Pets stay free.

Please do not go to this Motel; When I went to check-in, the woman at the front desk told me: “We canceled your reservation!” When I asked why they canceled my reservation? She explained to me that they cancel all third party reservations and told me to pay cash. I did not pay cash, but called Hotels.com explaining what was told to me. The agent on the phone did confirm that this location did in fact cancel my reservation. This left me with no room. Therefore, I sat in there parking lot at this location calling to see if there were any rooms available. We found a Hampton Inn and stayed there for the whole weekend. The Hampton Inn was wonderful and when we go back to Lubbock we will stay there and not Motel 6. What Motel 6 staff did at this location was unprofessionally rude. I will no longer stay or even suggest staying at any Motel 6. For the record I was not the only person this location did this too, there were 6 other people they did this too. Again, just completely unprofessional and rude.

Night staff lady was not helpful, had an attitude. Rooms were very poor condition, smelled like smoke when I asked for no smoking room. No lights in one of the rooms. Then one of the rooms looked like it was barely being completed. Horrible experience overall. Morning staff
