Extended Stay America Select Suites - Lubbock - South

This stay was a complete let down. There were no regular room amenities available in the room such as blow dryer or iron with ironing board, no ice machine to be found, front desk was poorly managed. You would expect to have someone manning the desk at all times as travelers come and go at odd times. This location had no staff present after quiet hours. Online stated that specific location offered a "grab n go breakfast" and NOTHING was found or available other than a vending machine that only accepted credit card. The amenities provided for an "extended stay'" did NOT justify the cost by any means. During quiet hours neighboring rooms were loud and disrespectful to ALL guests on that floor, propping the door open so they could fry food and allow the smell to permeate the entire floor while also drift through airvents. I would avoid this location at all costs.

No coffee maker in room. It was loud when you went to bed. Very sketchy:

There wasn’t any breakfast. Coffee would have at least been good. Didn’t have even that. No lobby. Room was dusty and floor wasn’t cleaned well. Lots of dirt under the bed. Better cleaning. Coffee at least.

The staff was very nice, friendly, and welcoming. The AC in our room worked very well, and the water was hot with good water pressure. Unfortunately, there was quite a lot we didn’t like. The hotel was very outdated and looked nothing like the pictures online. The entire hotel had a bad smell, and our room smelled strongly of cigarettes. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt more like sleeping on a pull-out sofa bed. The pillows were completely flat and smelled bad. The refrigerator was dirty and didn’t cool our things properly, and the microwave was old and rusted. Overall, the condition and cleanliness of the property were very disappointing.

My room was clean and comfy. Ms Savanna, Ms Hope & Mr John are very professional, patient, attentive to business, and down to earth folks. As long as 1 of the 3 are at this location, I will be be back. Nothing
