Ashmore Inn and Suites

The location was good The carpet was not swept, the shower had hair around the edges, the toilet was not cleaned and there was a dirty wash cloth hanging on the shower rod, the furniture was so dusty.

The first room did not have air conditioning, and we moved rooms thankfully the second room had air conditioning. The second room had bugs completely covering the bathtub and the room floor was filthy. The towels had stains and hair from previous customers. The room keypad also went out, and we had to ask the manager to unlock the door each time we needed to go back into our room. The manager was kind however the front desk employees seemed helping us was an inconvenience for them and one of the ladies talked on her personal phone the entire time.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was very convenient. The Pool was green and cloudy, so it was unusable. Wallpaper in several places in the room was coming off. Mold on the floor in the bathroom and the sofa sleeper was dirty and broken. Furniture was old, very uncomfortable and squeaked every time it was sat upon. A/C worked, but was inconsistent in keeping the temperature.

Room was filthy, full of dust, hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, bathroom nasty!! The hotel is old, and if only they would keep it up especially clean it wouldn’t of been a problem.

When we arrived at the room, 2 employees were standing at the door smoking. They didn't even move from the door to allow us entry, for verification of this, check the door area going in by room 101 for the cigarette butts, the room was disgustingly nasty. The commode had not been clean in a long time, there was a bolt broken on the toilet seat, the room had not been dusted, under the television was disgusting crud, the floors were filthy, the room smelled horrible, the sink was bad needing maintenance, the edges of the cabinets looked like they had been eaten by termites, the refrigerator was so frost filled there was no room to put anything in it, the only outlets that worked were the ones on the bedside table lamps, the landscaping at this site is extremely lacking (overgrown, dirty, and lacked any appeal (people were exiting their pool side doors to smoke even though it is a non-smoking facility), and the breakfast was not restocked for those arriving between 8:00 - 9;00 am. When I checked out this morning at the front desk and stated we would not be returning because of the filthiness, the desk person did not say anything. The main thing was the lack of cleanliness. We have stayed here previous years and really liked our stay. To say the least, this stay was a complete and total failure!!!

The first room they gave me the air conditioning didn't work and the window was out of its frame, only thing holding it from hitting the ground was the curtains. The second room they gave me was fine except for the tv did not work. A couple of the ice machines wern't working. The breakfast was usual for hotels. Overall they just need to fixa lot of stuff which they seem to be working on.

Exceptional

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Our room smelled terrible from the beginning, and nothing was done about it. On top of that, our room was not cleaned for 10 days, even though we repeatedly informed the front desk. Our trash piled up and overflowed, our towels were never replaced, and housekeeping never came. I even put the trash can outside the room myself. They emptied it but didn’t even bother putting it back inside. To make matters worse, our toilet overflowed, and despite reporting it immediately, it was not repaired until the next day. We were left dealing with an unusable bathroom for hours. We also asked several times to change rooms, but our requests were completely ignored. Even though I had already paid for my stay, the front desk employee insisted that I pay again. I explained that the payment had already been charged to my card and refused to pay twice. Instead of checking the reservation, he raised his voice and yelled at me. Booking.com customer service later confirmed that my payment had already been received. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, and unprofessional customer service made this an extremely disappointing stay. I would never stay here again and do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The caradenza, desk, chest of drawers were missing pieces on the front with their piece hidden under the desk or behind the chest of drawers. The bathroom had wallpaper peeling off and the wall was separating from the bath/shower. Also, the T. V. was not working. I asked the clerk to come to the room so I can show what I was seeing, the clerk never showed up...she forgot! When I went to go eat and came back, I asked her if she would come to the room. I pointed out everything that was not good in the room and even pointed out that hairs from a pet was on the couch, and the cushions had urine stains on both sides! I inquired about getting another room, she informed me that the hotel was old and the other room would not be to my liking! I inquired about the hotel putting me up in a different hotel, she informed me that they don't allow this! To my disappointment, I stayed. Fixed the T. V. myself, then boticed that mattresses didn't fit on the boxspring of the bed! I should have known, but we live and learn from our mistakes! I highly recommend that you not stay at this hotel, also, the continental breakfast was very poor, and not properly cooked! Was not happy here, and made my stay unenjoyable!

room looked clean but had an odor. Only interacted with the front desk on check-in and checkout both were pleasant. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Did not use any of the amenities.

the size of the room was good., I liked the fact that the bed room was different and closed off from the living room and that it was a place to eat seperate. my room had roaches. the refrigerator was so dirty that I did not even use it. The toilet barely flushed and the room had a weird smell. but i just bought some scented candles and burned those the two days of my stay
