Best Western Lubbock West Inn & Suites

Not what i expect from a best western. Hard beds, flat pillows, painted bathtubs. Disappointing.

The breakfast is always great. That is usually my go to place when I travel to Lubbock, I was disappointed with my findings especially since I brought friends along. They were not impressed The light by between the beds did not work, the carpet was wet in the sitting area, the tub had hair, there were pine cones in the cubby under the table between the beds

This place is so quiet and comfortable I extended my stay an additional 4 nights. Very friendly staff, thank you for the stay! I am converting from booking to Best Western Membership NA

Was clean for the most part Bed had big ass whole in it, so my feet were elevated higher then my head and was very uncomfortable. Also booked a room with a balcony and didn't get what I booked...

The property needed cleaning

The staff was unprofessional and very rude. The trashcans inside and outside were full with very foul odors coming from them. Staff member tried to charge an additional $150 after checkout for a beeping smoke detector that needed new batteries. When asking for towels after swimming we were told we had to pay for them even though no towels were present in the towel area. Breakfast was horrible. This was a horrible experience for me and my family

The pool area was very dirty then when my family went to get pool towels the lady at the desk said we had to pay for them once I checked out at the property at 1030am the lady tried to charge my card 50$ at 4pm saying I broke the mirror when I left my room the way they left it for me I had to go find linen for the pull out couch the breakfast was not the best the juice was watery and was told thats how it comes this was the worst experience I had and I will not be returning here ever again

Exceptional

Usually we have no real issues with staying here. This time, after waking up, it was discovered that the towels in our room were only hand towels and we had nothing to dry off with after a shower. I called the front desk and was told that if I wanted towels I would have to come get them myself from the front desk. Apparently the person was the only one around and couldn’t leave the desk. That was unacceptable to me. I was in my pajamas. I am very disappointed in the hotel after this stay and we have stayed here more than 4 times this year!!!

Nothing Bed bugs and hotel refused do anything about it

Clean big room Breakfast maybe nore help so it gets restocked and stay clean

Bath tub in 206 was old, moldy, and appeared to be spray painted white in some areas to hide age and damage

A/c had been turned off all day so it was miserably hot and I was only able to get an hour of sleep.

DON’T LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU! This hotel was absolutely filthy. First thing we walked into the lobby and it smelt like old mop water, literally disgusting. The seating area had food smashed on the floor and brochures or magazines thrown. Next we start walking to our room there is trash throughout all the halls and filth. We get to our room and there was disgusting stains all over the floor, human hair on the carpet, two small pillows on each bed, exposed box spring, literally looked like a trash hotel you’d spend $20 a night on. I requested a room change immediately and she made me walk with her to “take pictures for proof” and then didn’t even do that just waisted my time with my children and luggage. Put us in another room and it wasn’t any nicer but it wasn’t absolutely filthy like the other. I would rate 0 stars if I could. Front desk lady couldn’t have cared less about our experience or the presentation of the hotel.

Room was dirty, carpet stained and wet in bedroom. Bathtub had hair in it, the caulking was cracked and missing, tub itself looked old and discolored.

This place could be nice. It’s a newer hotel. It’s not being cleaned or maintained. Outside door was not working properly. Floor not vacuumed. Carpet stains in the common areas. Stained bedding and shower curtain. Dirty toilet. It was beyond disappointing.
