The entrance of the hotel reeked of marijuana, and our room smelled terribly—resembling uncleaned waste masked by a ton of air freshener, creating an unpleasant scent of flowery poop. The property had an overall rundown appearance, featuring nasty carpets and stains on the mattress. Located 30 minutes away from the airport, taking an Uber without the shuttle would be very expensive, though the shuttle driver mentioned the company would reimburse you for it. Scheduling the shuttle was nerve-wracking because I called and emailed three times in advance, and every time they had no record of it until I showed up and checked in. However, the shuttle service itself was great with a very friendly driver, and they do not charge for leaving your car parked while you are gone. As a bonus, the airport is very small so you don't need to arrive more than an hour early. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, the shower was hot, and the soaps smelled nice. All in all, for early flights, it is worth it despite being way overpriced for the smell, stains, and nasty carpets.

Loved it, going back today

Overall, it's decent if you're going just for a night, or for the weekend to swim in the pool. The room I stayed in was definitely outdated - there was a hole in the box spring, dirt and grime on every surface, bugs on various walls, water damage in the bathroom. The shower curtain held in none of the water, so no matter what the bathroom floor would be absolutely soaked after a shower. The walls are so thin that my neighbors having sex shook my own headboard for an hour each night after quiet hours. My ESA got lost in the hotel and the front desk person wasn't helpful in the least. They have no cameras in any of the hallways besides up by the front desk, and near the pool. The TV was super small which isn't really a complaint, but just adding to the outdated thing. The halls reeked of weed most of the stay, despite it being a no smoking allowed property. Breakfast was fine, limited options especially for those with allergies to dairy or gluten. All in all, you get what you pay for. I won't be staying again, but if you need somewhere to crash for a night, this place would be perfect.

Loved it!

The hotel is old and outdated; there were multiple people smoking pot in multiple rooms and the fire alarms went off in the middle of the night.
-
bar was closed, left before breakfast served

The room smelled moist but was great for the price. Beds and pillows very comfortable! Staff was excellent!

breakfast clean room

The breakfast was what you’d expect for a complimentary one. My room smelled strange and the bathroom floor and baseboards were disgusting. My sink barely drained and the bed was not comfortable at all. The staff that I could find was helpful when I needed anything.

Breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful.

Stay here if you don’t want to sleep! Checked in around 2am and so ready for a few hours of sleep before hitting the road again. Was awake until about 3:30am in a pool view room, about 10 people hollering and cackling in the pool. Called the front desk 4 times (no answer) before finally having to get dressed and head out there to see if they could make the people leave the pool that was supposed to close at 11pm. Wrote a note to the hotel and never got an answer back. This place is a literal joke and learned you’re on your own very quickly. Should have read the reviews beforehand. Also hot and cold were reversed for shower and hooks were falling off the wall.

Floors were awfully DIRTY!

Booker stay here at the last minute. I refused to check in for original reservation at another hotel. That place was disgusting! This was my next choice. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. We didn't get a chance to use any other amenities. Would recommend staying here.

The bathroom smelled strongly of cigarette smoke from the moment we walked in. Then, while taking a shower, I noticed dirty footprints on the floor and realized the walls and floor were coated in a sticky layer of nicotine residue. Check-in was tedious. There were what felt like a hundred different forms, disclosures, waivers, and signatures required, creating a line behind us and another one after us. Then there was the $2-per-night safe fee, which you’re told you can request to have removed at checkout. Just…why charge it in the first place? One of the stranger touches? Slot machines in the breakfast area. The biggest issue came in the middle of the night when the fire alarm went off—not just in the hallway, but blaring inside our room. We hurriedly scooped up our children and evacuated. After waiting outside for quite a while, we finally went to the front desk, where we were casually told it was a false alarm. It would have been nice if someone had communicated that before guests were left wondering whether the building was on fire. In terms of design, the bronze accents may have said “executive luxury” in the 1980s, but today they mostly say, “This hotel hasn’t been renovated in decades.”

Never again……

The room felt constantly damp and smelled musty. The carpet was damp and extremely dirty; after walking barefoot after a shower, dirt rolled off my feet when applying lotion, and my white socks turned black. The bathroom fan only made noise, and after showering the room felt like a sauna. Towels still had not dried after four days, and the shower stayed wet all day. Our clothes began to smell from the dampness, and we wore shoes whenever our feet touched the floor. Maintenance and amenities: Other issues included a crusty refrigerator shelf with broken door rails, a dusty cracked lamp, a spider web with a spider in the ceiling corner, and stained sheets. The hotel also had no bar, which was one reason I chose it; I wanted somewhere we could safely have a cocktail after returning for the evening. Overall impression: After seeing similar complaints in other reviews, changing rooms likely would not have helped. I booked seven months ago and did not see those concerns then, but the room’s condition was absolutely unacceptable and likely unhealthy.

The young front desk receptionist is great. Very professional, polite and kind!! Great breakfast
-
Flight cancellation landed me here. Great value for what I got. Location was also good, walkable to downtown Middleton and easy access to the bus.

That day and give her KUDDOS!!!

The breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausage was very good. The manager was very accommodating. The first room we were given had an air conditioner that was blowing right on the bed. When I told the manager that I had a bad neck and was concerned that the air blowing on me would aggravate my condition he gave us a different room that had a better air pattern.
