Everything was excellent! Service, room, breakfast! Five stars *****

The property is located across the street from a fairgrounds facility with woods on the backside of the hotel. This made it a very quiet area. The refrigerator in the room is much larger than expected. It was also nice to have a microwave. The breakfast was very good. We were in town for a concert and the hotel was nice enough to have a free shuttle that took us to and from the stadium. That was a major plus.

The Holiday Inn Express Madison Central has brought back customer service. From the minute you check in, you feel the difference. Angelleigh and staff were fantastic. They actually enjoy their job which makes for a great start. We felt very welcome and appreciated. The lobby was so inviting, the room was very clean and beds so comfortable. Breakfast is great with several cold and hot options. Coffee 24/7 and cookies in the afternoon. Mon. thru Wed. 5pm to 7pm there is a Manager's Reception with complimentary soda, beer, wine and light snacks. Aldamer was very accommodating explaining all the amenities. On site parking very convenient.

Room was great. Breakfast even better. We enjoyed our stay! Like others have said, getting there is a bit tricky but not a deal breaker.

Friendly staff. Free breakfast and shuttle! I expected that room will be cleaned after first night, or at least garbage removed and set of fresh towels provided. None of that.

Great location just off the beltline with easy access to Madison downtown. The hotel is on a bikepath which makes taking a walk or bike ride easy. We were surprised to find that the manager hosts a wine/beer/munchie reception 5-7pm on Monday to Wednesday. The rooms were comfy and the TVs were easy to use (not streaming). We were there on a weather Alert day so being able to watch local weather forecasters was important. Also, the hotel texted us information when the weather sirens went off all over the region during the day. This is very comforting for out of town travelers. Thanks.
