The fine dining Statehouse offers regionally sourced cuisine with an extensive wine list. The casual dining Icehouse and Boathouse offer pub fare, a great local brew selection, and views of Lake Mendota. The Madison Area Technical College and Overture Center For the Arts are both 1640 feet from the hotel. Camp Randall Stadium is 7 minutes’ drive away. Registered guests are responsible for the full repair and replacement costs of damages to the property of the hotel, and for extraordinary cleaning costs if required. This is above and beyond any other fees, including pet fees. Smoking is not permitted in rooms or public areas and will result $300 fine. Registered guests or their visitors who exhibit disruptive behaviors may be ejected from the hotel without refund. The hotel may also fine guests in the amount of compensation given to other third parties resulting from those disruptive behaviors. All guests in rooms shall be registered with the hotel. Occupancy shall not exceed fire code. People violating will be subject to ejection without a refund.

Luggage was delivered to our room before we had parked the car, as well as my cell phone that I had left at check-in. Room service was delicious and pretty quick too.

I expected more for the price. The room was nice but other than the terrace king nothing special. At this price point I would have expected the bed to be more luxurious, the bathroom had areas that needed repainting. The shampoo, conditioner and body gel were just okay. No bath salts or foam provided for the soaker tub. I did use room service and ate at the Statehouse, both were good. Would have liked their market open past 4pm given that was checkin time.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting and an easy walk to the Capitol. The rooms are upscale and the staff is incredibly friendly.

There were no pictures or decorations in the room, it was bare. For this top of the line room, I was disappointed.

Not the best gym, but great room with Lake view, short walk to Capital. Got comped free parking. Would stay here again.

Beautiful lake view and everything needed (restaurants, bars, spa, plaza, etc) on site. Ordered special pillow, but it was never delivered.

We would have appreciated informational materials in the room regarding instructions for the television, hotel restaurant menus, area attractions. Some hotel info was available online. The man at check-in was a little on the snooty side but the staff person who came to fix the tv was professional, prompt, and persistent in solving the problem.

It would be very easy to make the hotel more user friendly. The valet service was excellent. Some desk staff were unhelpful. The restaurants service, food and waiters were excellent. The hotel is in a lovely location on the lake and easy walking to downtown, the capital and museums.

Very beautiful property. Bed was so comfortable, room space comfortable with a nice view of the lake.
