I have left 5 star reviews for this hotel before. This trip was honestly not as impressive. The room we received was clean but the furniture was not well maintained. The headboard vinyl covering was ripping (lots of tares) near the bottom where your pillows touch it. The furniture was greatly scuffed. The pillows were lumpy. Staff was excellent as usual. The price was low compared to other hotels so perhaps that is why. I might look into others for our next visit however.

The hotel is beautiful and very conveniently located right off the main square in Madison. Parking is available below the hotel for an additional fee and they offer shuttles to get around so you don’t need to drive much depending on your plans. The rooms are spacious and very well organized with plenty of space in the room and bathroom. We were amazed at how quiet the rooms are and never heard anything or anyone around us despite the hotel being very busy and being in a city. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Very happy will stay there again

The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I ended up getting room service for breakfast and dinner one of the days, and both were prepared deliciously. Convenient parking and spacious rooms. No complaints here!

It was a great stay and the governors bar was amazing. If we come back to Madison this where I’ll be staying

only stayed 1 night (Monday). Hotel is very central and walkable to the center of town, restaurants, bars, etc. garage parking was easy and reasonable. We found Coopers bar to be the best for beers and watching the game. Town was very quiet but that’s most likely due to school not in session.

Beautiful, clean, well-kept hotel that exceeded my expectations. Way better than the Hilton or Marriott. I can't wait to stay at this hotel (and in this great area of Madison) again.

We paid extra to upgrade our room to the Governor’s level which included entry into the club on the 12th floor. Free cocktails and hors de oeuvres in the evening and a good complimentary breakfast. Worth the upgrade. Our room had a view of the capital building which was beautiful lit up at night.
