Clean has free breakfast and very close to kings island No hot tub

They charge me an extra $100 deposit that Mo was supposed to get back.

Air conditioner barely blew out which made the room hot. Buffet wasn’t refilled frequently son didn’t have syrup for waffles or milk for cereal.

Exceptional

The biggest complaint that we have is the breakfast area. The staff only came out with food items once at the beginning of the scheduled breakfast time and never restocked or cleaned anything in the dining room, children were operating the waffle maker to the point where waffle batter covered the counter and was dripping onto the floor, the coffee urns were quickly depleted and not refilled and a staff member was seated at a table reading a newspaper and ignored the mess until dining service time ended and then he got up and said to the people who were still trying to find something to eat the breakfast was over and the dining area was closed. Then and only then did he clean the mess. The hallways had a strong smell of musty dampness as well. We enjoyed Kings Island Park but we will never stay at this hotel again.

Some things are a bit more worn than others, but all in all it is nice. It feels safe. The door has a lock flip thing. The couch is a bit dated, I put a towel over it to sit on. The desk to do work is helpful. The digital tv and channels were nice to get discovery and jeopardy. The staff are friendly and helpful. I got an Amazon item sent there and they held it for me at reception. The business center didn't have ink in the printer, so I emailed the front desk to print what I needed. That works and was appareciated. Breakfast is decent. It is definitely a varied spread for the small space they have. I quite liked the mini waffle maker!

Our room was clean. Breakfast was OK close to Kings Island.

Size of the room

Room was nice size, like that they had a couple different options for breakfast pancakes not just plain, they also had blueberry. Room did have a musty smell, breakfast had an okay variety and the pool looked green.

Smelled so bad in the halls and room. No shampoo or conditioner. Only decaf coffee in the room.

they kicked us out 15 minutes early and the room consistently smelled like slighttt mildew but it really wasnt horrible. all clean bedding and towels dont worry.

Room was fine some carpet stains they could vacuum hallways and clean stains more. Landscaping let go. Signs and entrance can easily be missed and there is only one. My room key got demagnetized twice staff took care of it just annoying as ive never had that happen anywhere before.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Bed was a bit firm but I ended up sleeping so good so I guess it wasn’t too bad! Only complaints is the pool is tiny and the hotel smells a bit dated. It could use some new carpet throughout to help with the smell and brighten it up some. It was worth the price and we had a good stay!

The location, price, and amenities all met our needs. There were several items that were less welcoming. First impressions are important and the desk staff were either not out front or very welcoming. Then one of the first things you see is the swimming pool which was not being maintained, the water was greenish, stagnant, and definitely not a welcoming amenity. The room was spacious and met all our needs, however the carpet condition detracts from the overall experience.

This is the second time my food was destroyed because the freezer in the fridge didn't work. It's NOT ok to lose twenty dollars worth of frozen fruit and popsicles because the freezer on seven, the highest setting, didn't freeze my ice pack or any of my frozen goods. The first time it happened I thought it was me. I was annoyed. There wasn't a dial I could find to make sure it was on the coldest setting, although a freezer should freeze. The second time, this trip, I'm mad. I don't appreciate my money being wasted. Also, the tub had mold. That was gross. The tv remote was funky and automatically switched to the weather channel, which wasn't my last channel. That messed with me and was just odd. The bed was comfy. Nothing was broken and the door didn't stick. I appreciate that.

If you value where you rest your head at night... DO NOT STAY HERE.. first off as soon as you enter the building it smells like overpowered air freshener. Unbeknownst to us then, why it was so strong.. pool was lime green... the room smelled like mold or mildew so heavy it instantly gave me a headache...TV didn't work.. refrigerator didn't get cold... woke up at 4 am to a bedbug on the pillow.. made staff aware and they just handed the pillow back after changing the pillowcase like I was supposed to go back to sleep.. was told that his daughter came in at 8 and could handle for me. I handed my key to him and said No I am leaving.. Now. Contacted expedia about the problem and the property owner lied to them and said we had a pet and that we smoked on property.. which was completely false and could be corroborated with cameras. Expedia denied our refund and tried to issue a measley $60 in rewards as compensation which was barely one nights stay... we were there less than 6 hours into a 2 night stay and had to leave. Please spend your money elsewhere.. if you complain they will just lie to expedia to keep your money.... truthfully, their facility should be boarded up by the health department.

Breakfast was good. I've stayed at this Comfort Suites several times and will again. Location is convenient to restaurants, gasoline, and freeway. My room was nice, clean, and spacious. It had everything thing I needed. It also had the TV STATION GUIDE, thank you for that. I hate to channel surf . It seemed like the hot water could have been hotter. The tub seemed a little slick when taking a shower. Hot water rinses the soap better on the body and the tub. Fan was a little noisy, but not a major issue for me. It's a waste of time for me. Some hotels have them, some don't.
