I had a horrible experience on 7/3/26 I had taken my family to kings island for the fourth of July so I made sure I booked in order to have plenty of sleep room, I planned to have the kids sleep on the sofa bed , so when we pulled is out the bed we were shocked to see that the mattress and sheets had urine stains as well as blood spots and so did of the beds, I immediately called down to the hotel staff and explained the situation to a male by the name of Al, he was rude and stated that they had no house keeping available until tomorrow and no more rooms available to move to. I was devastated after paying $273 for the room.. We were left in just one bed for several people. No apologies at all.

They advertised a hot tub which it wasn’t one. Overall the experience was great!!! Breakfast was the bonus and it was delicious.

The breakfast was great all 3 mornings we were there. There were people who came down at 8:45 (they stop serving at 9) and upset that there were not a full array of options available, but common sense says there won’t be. Other than that, the selection differed each day which was nice. The location is wonderful if going to Kings Island for the day. Just a short ride back to the room after a long day of fun at the park. Also, 3 great dining options right there by the property, so you don’t have to go far to get a good meal. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

N/A, not ideally located for my purposes.

We discovered Residence Inn about 5 years ago for our annual trip to Kings Island and have continued to stay here every single time. You cannot beat the location and amenities - outstanding. I always give it 5 stars but unfortunately, this time it only receives 3 stars simply due to the room cleanliness of the room and hallways were lacking. We only received 1/2 roll of toilet paper (had to ask for more), there were toenail clippings on the floor (Gross!), the bathroom needed a deep clean, and the trash bags in the hallway in front of the ice machines the entire stay was disappointing. But the staff is amazing, the pool and workout room are great, the breakfast is amazing and restaurants are walkable - Outback next door, Taco Bell and Jimmy Johns about 1 minute walk. For a family with kids, this is definitely the hotel to stay at for your trip to Kings Island.

They had a breakfast buffet and eggs and sausage were prepared. But, I have never been a fan of cook it yourself food, in this case pancakes and waffles. If you are in a hurry or have hungry children, not a good idea. The front desk were efficient, but they seemed a tad annoyed and uninterested. I traveled around the world in places like Vietnam and Cambodia where the hotel staff were over the top polite and kind. I don’t expect that everywhere I go. But, in general, there is a real contrast between hospitality culture in other countries versus the United States. It’s not just hotels, even between airlines. It’s a discussion that needs to be had by the American hospitality industry. I don’t expect Cirque de Soleil when I walk into hotel or onto a plane, but when I’m paying, don’t behave like you are doing me a favor. This goes across the board in American hotels. It’s not a unique problem.

I also needed to use the pull out bed and there were no sheets to be found. I told the manager and she offered rewards points for the inconvenience. I do not plan on staying at this property again.

We had an overall wonderful stay. The breakfast was amazing and all the staff was very friendly. Our room's conditioner bottle was empty and I left a note for housekeeping to refill it, but they skipped our room. I would still stay again.
