I brought my kids on a weekend get away trip to enjoy ourselves. We started with Great Wolf Lodge and we're going to go to Kings Island. Great Wolf Lodge, I will never return. The staff did not explain the amenities, packages, or what they had to offer to make my stay enjoyable. I was confused as it was my first time. I didn't know where the arcade was located, our food was rushed, cold, and disgusting. It was the worst experience. When I tried to ask for help when I saw start, they seemed annoyed.

We had a room with a loft and the downstairs bathroom didn't have any towel racks. The handtowels had to lay on the sink, which isn't fun with younger (messy) kids. The outlet also didn't work. There was a cockroach on the patio and near the elevator, the elevators only worked part of the time, the Magiquest with the wands encouraged constant elevator usage!! The wave pool was down for our entire last day. The restaurants were constantly out of things! This was the week of the July 4th holiday and they were ill prepared.

Expedia sucks. I paid over 3 grand for 3 rooms for 3 nights. They couldn't modify my reservations at all. I had to deal with great Wolfe directly costing me an additional 600+ dollars. Never again.

We were very disappointed that we had to wait 3 hours to check in. We arrived early and had requested early check in when we booked and were wondering if it was because we used hotels.com and not a direct booking. Other than the wait, the resort is a great place to take your family! I would highly recommend it.

Beds were so uncomfortable. Front desk staff was unfriendly & uninformative. The help app was nice. Used that & it was helpful.

There is like no sound insulation in the room too. I was inside the area with the bunk bed and could hear my family whispering through the wall like there is no barrier at all. And we can hear other customers opening and closing their doors. Many times, the sound made me think someone opened our door.
