Reasonable price, easy location to get in and out for brief Charlotte visit. Clean.

The location. It was 8 minutes from our event location. Making it very easy to get a little extra sleep before a super busy day. The location couldn't be better. Plenty of parking and a clean lot. Easy in and out as well. • One room had a roach. • Another room had a damaged/deadbolt lock, which raised serious concerns about the security of the room. • We requested clean sheets for one of the rooms, and what was brought to us looked wadded up and poorly handled, rather than properly folded and presented as clean linens. • The hallway smelled strongly of marijuana/weed, which was especially unpleasant and concerning for families and guests simply trying to rest. • The breakfast was unacceptable. The selection was poor, the quality was disappointing, and breakfast actually ran out before the scheduled breakfast period was over. This is particularly problematic for guests who need to eat early before taking medication or starting their day. What makes this more frustrating is that these weren't isolated minor inconveniences. Cleanliness, room security, basic hospitality, and breakfast service are fundamental expectations when paying to stay at a hotel.

Phone was off the hook feeling like somebody was listening. Then my door hinge was loose and didn’t feel secure at all. I wasn’t comfortable at all unfortunately.

Pleasant

It was somewhat clean but room smelled badly of cigarettes and what other scents had been used to try to hide it. They didn’t have the pool open in the middle of summer in 80+ degree heat. Nothing that I saw while booking indicated the pool was closed because the listing even includes pictures of the pool. Pretty unacceptable for the literal middle of summer. The food items for breakfast were also very low quality and quantity. We saw other guests turn away and seek better breakfast options.

First upon arrival, I check in it was hot in lobby and no public bathroom. I check in and went to room to find out she gave me a dirty or occupied room! Used towel was still on the floor and use wash clothes in the shower and the room smell like smoke! When back downstairs to let her know and she seem shocked but gave me another room. Soon as I got to the room I went to shower to find out my water was cold! All showers on a 2-day stay was cold and I even let the water run for a while and the handle was backwards Hot was Cold and Cold was supposed to be Hot! Next day I didn’t see no housekeepers and needed linen only two washcloths and two towels and I was staying two days! Nobody never clean my room never seen a housekeeper my entire stay! My sheets had holes in it! I was suspect of the room it was dirty and I was itching in the bed so I was thinking they had bed bugs but didn’t see any! I went downstairs to get linen and she said they didn’t have any at 4:00PM! I mention the cold water never getting hot for showers she said she will let the manager know! That night I went downstairs to let the manager know about the water and told him to come check he said nobody was working front desk but he will come check! He offer to switch rooms but I already been there a day and a half and was leaving the next morning and the room was the same as far as water lukewarm not Hot! I can’t believe they claim it was a good hotel had I known what I knew never would have stayed and I already paid and they was not tryna give a refund so I stick it out but never again would I stay there worst hotel I ever stayed at and the customer service is horrible!

Breakfast was not always heated and sometimes sat cold. My car was vandalized parked in the front of hotel lobby. Alerted front desk, manager was supposed to contact me as they were on the premises. No contact from Mgr, checked out the next day instead of staying thru the reservation. Homeless people on the grounds by the dumpster.
