Extended Stay America Suites Memphis Germantown

Roaches, lots of Roaches. We will never stay there again. They were everywhere. Even coming out of the air conditioning unit. We were there for only one night, thank goodness. I got a room for another couple also, I felt so bad for them. I couldn't even sleep. The place is a dump. We even bought a can of Raid roach spray down at the Walgreens

The front desk person, Deborah, was lovely. The entire building was disgustingly filthy. There was no way we would have stayed.

Deborah was very nice and helped us switch rooms when we discovered the ac unit was not working in our room. The room was ok, the facilities are old and in need of repairs. Building had a musty smell. There are no trash cans provided in the room, and no dishes or coffee maker. There was toothpaste in the sink from the last tenant, and fingernail clippings on the floor. Definitely needed a better cleaning.

The room was horrible. The photos on the website are genetic and do not match what the hotel actually looks like EVERYTHING except the refund

Staff was wonderful and hotel was fairly clean. Parking was easy and check in was fast.

The Staff was excellent, courteous, and professional. Especially Deborah at the front desk, who checked us in. The issues included roaches in the room, outdated kitchen amenities, and a dirty refrigerator.

I don't know the guy's name, but he was a Black man with a low haircut. He was sooo helpful to us. He went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. He made us feel appreciated. He knows how to run a hotel. He deserved a raise and/or promotion!
