Hotel Rendale Miami Beach

There was no sign on the building so it was hard to tell if I was even at the correct place. Also be aware of what room you book. There are only elevators for some portions of the facility not all.

We stayed in a room that is apparently used as a dorm room during the regular college semesters, and there were no hand towels, nor a place to hang them if we got them after requesting, which we did not get, only wash rags. The beds were hard and dorm like but good enough for a solid nights sleep. The walk to the room was a bit creepy too. Other than that-it was cute and trendy and the regular rooms are probably just fine! Just be aware of what you book!

Close to where our family was staying .Easy transportation stop to come and go from the miami strip coming back bus drops off right across street at riu hotel. Nice comfortable bed, staff were pleasant all in all i would go back again location was excellent. Shower water temp couldn't get higher than lukewarm , window inside seperate bathroom frosted but gets hot because no shade,separate sink outside bathroom pedestal sink size not much room for toiletries . Hallways dark.

Good shower too. Location is really good and near some stuff, with some downsides. Pool was nice. No Gym, on the weekdays there is not much going on in the hotel. There are rooms that looks like a hostel but there wasn't a "hostel vibe" to the place. Also the hotel is near to the beach but there is not much options to eat, mostly very expensive restaurants. And the busy bars and clubs were a little far from there(40 minutes walk). there is no place to sit in the beach for the hotel, some others fancier hotels had.

Good vibes for a single person trip

Staff that attended us at night was great. We asked for a king-sized bed, but when we went to the room it was a queen bed 😑. When we went back to the front desk, he personally walked us to another room, we took a double bed just because it is more room. The queen-sized bed being a king-sized bed in the system is not his fault, it is managements fault. This employee saved our hotel experience going straight to a 1 star. Management: PLEASE make sure your rooms are categorized as they are, King-beds are king beds, and queen beds are queen beds. Otherwise, great property, very clean, views and distance from beach are indisputable.

When I checked in I was asked for another $90+ I explained what I had arranged through Expedia/hotels.com and showed proof that I had paid in full. This was instantly removed from the invoice. I was also asked if a few stairs were ok, and upgraded to a lovely Junior Suite, In “The Villa” A small collection of rooms, out the back of the hotel, through the pool area. It was well equipped, well laid out, with a large bed, sofa, chair & desk. A small fridge was provided in the room too. One only gripe was the A/C wasn’t very strong/cooling. I think as our room had nothing above it, it was a bit overwhelmed, so coming back from the beach etc. it was still a bit warm in the room. But a great hotel, with great transport links, right next to the beach, and very reasonably priced for Miami!

The location was very good. It is near the beach. The bathroom has a separate sink, toilet, and shower, each in a different area of the room. The sink is in the bedroom. The hotel is very ugly. It doesn't have a fridge. The staff were not very friendly.

The staff was perfect: extremely courteous, professional, and always ready to meet our needs with great efficiency. The only thing I feel I should mention is the comfort of the bed and pillows, which I found a bit uncomfortable for my personal preference. However, considering the excellence of all the other services provided, it remains an excellent choice for anyone visiting Miami.
