Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami-Airport/Blue Lagoon

I made reservation 6 months prior to staying there When arriving on the day to check in they told me that the hotel had canceled my stay! I called booking to see what happened but still never got email I was only told they didn’t know why the hotel had cancelled my stay. So I had to make a new reservation which cost me more money! I didn’t get an apology or anything just a higher will which was a inconvenience due to the fact I was having surgery The staff act like they had no knowledge about anything when it came to payment! The cleaners did clean my room my mom and aunt had to run someone down to get towels and issue and new liens!

Everything was clean and was near a lot of stores definitely enjoyed myself

Location and view was awesome. Breakfast and food accommodation was nice as well. Some of the residents with dogs left a smell in the hallway Parking and laundry could have been accommodated better

Location, clean, free parking They didn’t add me the hilton honors points even when they promise they will do after an issue with the room key that was not working for 24 hours. If they said they will added they should have done it

Walking distance to some stores

Very good value. The complimentary breakfast included in the price is fantastic. Also the complimentary dinner on Wednesdays is a great extra, considering that the room rates are very reasonable. I love the location. There are supermarkets and restaurants at walking distance, and at close driving distance The rooms aren’t cleaned too well. Especially the floor and the bath tub. Also very difficult to communicate with the house keeping staff (which is sometimes needed) if you do not speak Spanish.

Breakfast was ok. Location was ideal close to the airport. Breakfast could have some more options. Vegan/ non meat eaters/pescatarians. Meat menu: chicken or pork always!!!!!

Rooms were nice Shuttle was expensive and she took us on a tour that we didn't want to do. She wanted to look at some houses so she drove through. She was stopping and people were honking and going around her. It was unnecessary and not worth the time.

This hotel is extremely close to the Miami international airport and freeways but surprisingly you can't hear any of the traffic or plane noise. It is in a good location close to stores and restaurant. The hotel was clean, the guest service was nice. We didnt try breakfast so I cant speak on that but the lobby was full of guest during breakfast time. I only wish there was a hot tub during the fall season.

Our stay was excellent. We will definitely be back soon!
