Holiday Inn Harrisburg East by IHG

My family & I stayed for 4th of July & it was a lot of issues. Bathroom drain smelled like a sewer then bathroom had black mold in shower. Our hotel door wouldn’t stay closed with other people slamming their doors. Power went out our last night hot muggy in room. We went to Hershey park & couldn’t shower when we came back & Room service came changed our towels & didn’t replace them then to realize it’s no hot water to shower. Couldn’t heat up our food.. Sunday checkout power still gone room extremely uncomfortable. Family left before checkout. Breakfast was tasteless & I’ve stayed at Holiday Inns before & had better breakfast then our recent stay. Overall this stay was a 4 rate.

The Pool was closed the entire time. The lights went out my second night. I didn’t get an I’m sorry or anything. Worst hotel stay ever.

No power no water no pool!

not your typical Holiday Inn experiance. Pool closed entire stay, charged for breakfast and its a horrible breakfast set up had to eat out after paying for it.

Our hotel room had trash all over the floor, popcorn in the sleeper sofa, and the front desk barely spoke a word to us when we asked for sheets for the sleeper sofa or any other questions.

The rooms/ bathroom were gross

Breakfast attendant was nice Room was gross. Mildew in the shower, grout was disgusting and they badly patched it with caulk. Shower door didn't want to work. The paper sign with tape in the shower saying to pull above the shower handle was a nice touch. Pull out couch mattress had a massive hole in it, no extra linens provided for it. we had to call the front desk and they told us to come down and get it. Hole in the wall. Unknown red stain on the floor. Side table had Unknown goop caked around the top. Pool under maintenance but not notified of it until we checked in. Unknown q tip found on the floor when we checked it and the last people even left us some Chinese

I did not have a good experience. Hi, I checked into the Holiday Inn in East Harrisburg last night around 8:20pm. We checked out at 11:30pm and didn’t even stay the night. There were bugs crawling on us in the beds, blood stains on the sheets. Moldy food items on the floor. I have photo documentation as well. I am requesting a full refund for the stay since we didn’t even stay the night. My booking number is: 5754051379. I tried calling and also sent message online and never got an email response back yet.

Honestly nothing The room just seemed dirty. The whole hotel could use a good cleaning. People want to feel like the place they are staying is clean. It also just doesn't seem like the people working there wanted to even be there.

Room was filthy! They’ve tried to upgrade the hotel, but it was done so shotty. LOUD too, kids were running all around the hotel. Tried to charge $14 for a breakfast that was mostly baked goods. Front staff was not friendly.

Hotel was good, but we booked room for 6 from Expedia but unfortunately the room was just enough for 4, we have to book additional room at checkin. Overall hotel room, breakfast was good.

The website didn't tell us the pool was out if order.

Good location for our needs. Pool wasn’t in operation. We chose this location for the pool. Nothing on line to say the pool was out of order. The patio hadn’t been cleaned or setup like in the photos. Wicker chairs had no cushions no umbrellas. Maybe they didn’t intend for it to be used since the pool was closed.

Convenient to the highway, and out of the hustle and bustle of town.

Pictures online are very deceiving. Pool was not open. Bar was lacking. Our room was not cleaned, we had to go to the front desk for clean towels and a bag for trash.

No pool, room not cleaned. Repairs are poor or not at all
