Quality Inn & Suites Middletown - Newport

Nothing. Everything. Please was very run down and dirty especially our room. The smell of mold that came from our air conditioner and horrible stench of water from the bathroom. The sheets were dirty and clearly nothing was cleaned in that room or hotel. We also very felt unsafe. We checked out a night early after the wedding we attended because staying another night would have been miserable.

Food selection and quality questionable similar to lowest grade motel

Check out time person was good and pleasant. Lady who checked in was not friendly, was indifferent, not happy to answer questions etc . Looks like she treats people from different ethnic backgrounds differently, because was behaving very nice with the customer before us.

Our room was a good size and was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were not, they need to replace the pillows. The breakfast was fine to get you going. Waffle maker, eggs, coffee, bagels, yogurt. 4 miles from Newport. We had a good stay.

Staff is courteous Condition is decrepit. Bad smell, not clean.

Food was good and our room was clean and parking was available and brightly lit.

The staff was friendly and breakfast was filling! There were lots of options that the whole family enjoyed. There was a terrible gas smell in the hallway outside of the pool. Additionally, the hotel seems very dated and in need of an upgrade.

Or stay at this hotel was perfect. Everything was clean and spotless. The free continental breakfast was pretty good. The staff was great and our room was great. For the price this was a home run.

Front desk staff were polite but not very quick to say, "Can I help you?" Breakfast was standard motel fare; scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals, waffle maker, etc. Nothing special but not bad. Breakfast area was nice and clean. Bathtub/shower drain was SLOW! My feet got very wet!

The layout of the facility looks like a nursing home. The room that was given to us has a weird layout Rm 155 in Wing B.

The property is very large. Having one washer and dryer for a property that size is not understandable. Front desk needs to have plenty of quarters for the use of the washer/dryer.Most of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast choices were varied and a good selection. The elevator smelled greatly of mold/mildew. The size of our room was great especially w the “punch out” of the wall. The bed was comfortable. I would stay again.

We stayed all but 1 minute as this place is disgusting and in livable smelled of urine Open walls and cracks in bathroom roach on the wall I expect a full refund I have submitted all photos to my credit card carrier

Great breakfast and free self parking

The pool It was filthy. The elevator smelled like mildew. I looked at the certificate and it hadn’t been inspected since 2024

The hallway carpet was stained in many spots. The floors do not seem to be even or level. For someone with a disability this was dangerous. The shower was elevated-what should have been a low threshold shower became a huge step down that didn’t even have a grab bar. I tried grabbing the shower door bar but that was worse. You provide handicap spots in your parking lot, but you can’t give me a handicap bathroom. This is a very unsafe condition. I don’t even know how you passed inspections when the bathrooms were remodeled. My husband went for a walk around the property and you see the condition of the property and the lack of maintenance. Apparently the quality did not go in before the name went on.

The room was clean. The housekeeper were great the TV’s could be updated. They did offer a microwave and mini fridge. Coffee maker iron and board hair dryer. Breakfast was a treat. Parking was good.

Bathroom and room very clean. Good breakfast. Easy to find. Nice sized room. Not too far from Newport attractions.

The room was large and quiet. The breakfast was standard fare but plentiful with a good sized dining area. Good value for the area.
