Breakfast was not fresh. Rooms were decent

The room was not as described on the website (which claimed it was a suite) and in actuality it was a standard room with a King Size bed. This was especially important as we were traveling with a baby and needed the separate space- had we known we never would’ve booked the hotel. Then they also claimed to have infant beds on the website as well, but upon arrival, we were told that we needed to make a “special request”, though that’s not indicated on the site, and that there were no more infant beds available. In addition, the staff was not particularly helpful or empathetic in any of these situations, only restating these policies. In addition, they loudly knocked on our door at 1am saying that the baby was crying, as if one, we weren’t aware, and two, that is not typical behavior of babies. Furthermore, at the conclusion of our trip, we were charged $25 because the baby had a small accident on the sheets & once dropped a bit of syrup on the sheets- a policy I’ve certainly never heard of in hotels with replacing sheets due to stains (it’s part of the cost of running a hotel business)! At the exorbitant 4/5 star luxury hotel rates this 2 star motel/inn is charging, you would expect better service, more empathetic staff, and a place that would be more amenable to families. Would never return!

It is ok place to stay. The room was clean but no closet. There is a pool, but there was only four lounge chairs, so there was no really place to lay down but again for Newport in the middle of August it was a decent price and place to stay and

They sold my room before I got there and left me on the streets when I just drove 12 + hours. You could check in at 3 and I arrived at 6 to learn I had NO place to stay I didn’t appeal a thing and quite frankly it smelled at soon as we walked in to learn they sold our room

The room was larger than normal. Bed comfortable and room clean.

when we got to the hotel at 3 for check in, our room according to the housekeepers was not ready yet so we had to wait 10 additional minutes. on top of that, i found a toe nail on the blanket of the bed, poking me in my knee. when the house keepers came to look, she started arguing with me saying that who knows if i put it there. Also, the doors in the bathroom do NOT open all the way as the toilet is in the way.

Good locationin Middleton Rhode Island but this is def a budget hotel for $400 a night

EVen with the tourist season in full swing,, the unit was overpriced.

Clean room

The room cost $500 and the smell was a horrible mildew/mold smell. They offered spray air freshener. We said that was inadequate so they moved us to another room. This room smelled like someone had smoked in it. There was a wet towel in the bathtub from the prior guest. The bathroom door had bleach stains on it. Extremely disappointing. We should have gotten our money back or a discount but we were offered none of that.

Great location, average stay.

While it does look a bit sketchy when pulling in, and the little vestibule before the lobby smells of urine-the staff are helpful and we found our room to be very clean and beds comfortable. If you just need a clean and safe place to sleep for a night-this will be great for you.

Given the high prices for rooms nearer to Newport, the price for our room was a bargain.

No daily cleaning service which also means no fresh towels. I asked for fresh towels at the front desk and he handed me one towel (there weren’t any clean towels available). Poor water pressure, beds and pillows the poorest quality. I do not recommend.
