Fox was showing the World Cup matches and apparently wasnt working on any TV in the hotel. The paint was peeling off the ceilings. There was also rust in the bathtub. The staff was super helpful and friendly, though.

Overall the hotel and room were clean.

The hotel was clean and organized, but for $400 a night I would expect better pillows because the pillows were awful. I would also expect at least to get coffee in the morning, but everything for breakfast was à la carte. And it would be nice if they had some sort of store where they would be able to sell water or snacks or something like that at the front desk.

Great overall

The bathroom had mold on the ceilings, the curtains were really dirty, the refrigerator didn’t work and when we called the front desk, they never sent anyone, and the showerhead hadn’t been cleaned in a really long time.

The property was close to everything. Walmart, Old Navy, Marshall’s, Dollar Tree, tons and tons of restaurants. The bathroom was not entirely clean when we arrived. So that was a little problematic. But everything else was really nice. Can’t complain

Staff helped us add a roll away bed for a 3rd child and that was very helpful.

Room was reasonably clean, but bedsheets had a few stains. Walls seemed thin - a fair amount of noise got through them. Combination indoor/outdoor pool meant it was harder to keep the pools clean. At least the hot tub was working, and the jets were strong enough without being overpowering. Breakfast was not free, but the day manager comped me and my fiancee our breakfast items one morning, which I thought was nice. Good location only a short drive from the heart of Newport. A free continental breakfast every morning would move its rating up a point or two. If you're willing to navigate Newport's streets, this is a reasonably-priced alternative to the resorts along the waterfront.

The hotel is in a commerce park, no restaurant but lobby food, coffee was $3.00 a cup for self serve. On our second day we asked for a bathroom refresh, after 3 requests over a 12 hour period they gave us a few more towels. Tub wouldn’t drain, tiny room that had seen better days all for the outlandish price of $670.00 a night! Stay away! We asked for a bathroom refresh at 9am, the housekeepers were right next door, called the front desk, can we get a bathroom refresh? Certainly. 3 hours later, call the desk, no bathroom refresh. Sorry sir but I wasn’t even on at 9am, well can you and come do it now? Yes sir! Back at 9pm, no bathroom refresh. Call the desk, well we can’t do anything about the refresh now sir, it’s too late! Room was over $600 a night. Why so much, we weren’t expecting this kind of quality was asked as we were checking out. Well this is Newport in the summer sir, I said no it isn’t, this is Middletown in an industrial park!

The bathroom was generally clean, but definitely needs more attention to details. The A/C kept the room bearable, but it needs maintenance as it didn't keep the humidity levels down. This was mentioned at checkout as we stayed only 2 nights.

Except for breakfast everything else was good

Very basic. Bed linens were clean and so was the bathroom, but there was lots of dust on some of the surfaces. Pillows were super flat after a few minutes of laying on them. We weren’t comfortable. It was quiet at first, but on Friday night it got busy and there were a few people drinking and smoking in the side parking lot. Not something we want to see at a hotel. Won’t stay there again.

Clean room,dirty hallway carpet

Run down. Banged up furniture, wet stains on ceilings, hair on bathroom floor, ripped open/torn tissue box, iron but no ironing board. Facility/grounds allover shabby and in a not great area of town. SO not worth close to $500 for one night. ick.

Don't expect breakfast. Just plan to grab something somewhere.
