I have now stayed at the Pell 4 times. The guys at the front desk are great and accommodating. The bar is inviting and chic, the rooms are clean, the lobby is clean, bright and comfortable. We will be back. Thanks

The Pell Hotel is a great option if you are looking for a modern, more affordable accommodation while visiting Newport. Be prepared to pay $20 one way per Uber ride to/from Newport. Despite what you may read, the bus is inconvenient and unreliable. Staff was friendly and room was clean. My one complaint about the room is that you could only open the closet door about 1/3 of the way before it was stuck against the floor. Loved the convenience of having an on-site restaurant and bar. Beverages and food were delicious! We did not utilize the pool area but it looked very nice and several other guests seemed to enjoy it. Of note, there is no elevator. Thankfully we were on the second floor but I would keep this in mind prior to booking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend The Pell Hotel.

This hotel would have been great if there had been an elevator. We were shocked when we arrived and although the receptionist carried our luggage up. We do not stay in hotels like this if we knew we could have requested a first floor room but when we came, there were none available. We are seniors, and the steps did not make us happy,

Love this property. Beautifully decorated, very nice staff, wonderful restaurant on site and new pool! Just about a 10 min drive to Newport and a lot of the surrounding things to do.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The pool and patio were very pleasant. We had breakfast each morning and the food was good.

Rooms clean and we liked the J. Adler toiletries, Illy Coffee maker for am coffee. Did not try the bar/restaurant but did notice they had live music Friday night. Great location and very convenient for all our activities. This is our second time staying here.

What a lovely, comfortable stay we had! The hotel had been updated and it was beautifully appointed with everything we needed. It was super comfortable and quiet. We also appreciated the lovely landscaping that they put behind the hotel. It was a very good value for the money and we were able to travel and see Newport and other nearby destinations.

Well located, clean. Beds comfortable. New pool is an excellent addition.Staff is friendly and very helpful. Very bad air-conditioning. Either freezing cold, or too hot. TV very wonky.

It was conveniently located and pretty clean. We had to go to the front desktop multiple times during our 3 night stay and ask for more coffee stuff, towels, and toilet paper. The 1st guy was really nice even carried the towels to our room. The 2nd guy was rude and stingy.
