Really appreciated the shuttle to Brewers game.

There wasn’t a trashcan on n the bathroom and there was only half a roll of toilet paper. We have stayed here twice and can attest to similar issues in both rooms, and the carpet throughout the building is in desperate need of replacing.

Dirty room, stained carpet, mold in bathroom and tub. Would not recommend

Nice stay. Just two elevators and only one usable. Very nice property.

Convenient to bus lines, the Brewers shuttle was convenient and easy. Cocktails and bar snacks were tasty. Not many frills but I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in Milwaukee

Wonderful, historic hotel with amazing staff!

Absolutely one of our favorite places to stay when in Milwaukee! A beautiful, vintage hotel with a bar and restaurant downstairs. The room was gorgeous and afforded a lovely view. It’s also across the street from The Rave, so highly recommended for shows.

The hotel and room are beyond 5STAR and Maureen at the downstairs bar is a rockstar, she has the best customer service skills ever witnessed.

There was what appeared to be black mold on the shower grout. The bar staff were totally incompetent until the black woman arrived for her shift. She was the only bright spot as far as service. The food in the bar was decent and happy hour drinks were reasonably priced. Bed was comfortable and the AC worked well.

The state of the property was a bit run down for the price I paid— I was clearly visiting during a high volume period, but I would imagine there being a limit to how much a property might charge relative to the quality of the property. Between this, the fact that it’s a signature property and the interior photos, I thought this was closer to a 4-star property

Staff Cleanliness

Neat old deco building, and nice room. Good location, parking is close and relatively uncomplicated. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Tub diverter was fussy and difficult to turn on the shower, long dark hairs on the floor of the bathroom. No hand soap or facial soap in the room.

The room can use a "facelift". There are a few areas of wallpaper peeling off the walls which can easily be glued down. Above the bed and on bath wall. Most disturbing was the mold on the tub tiles. Get some Clorox Tub and Tile Cleaner and spray, then scrub it! I'm unsure why I have to tell you this! Maybe the Hotel Manager needs to do a walk through every unit

The hotel seemed “tired”. Lighting is dim, colors are dingy, location is sketchy. Definitely not a 4 star experience.
